I second Tom's @greensmith suggestion. All major limits (Level, Stars, Experience, Fuel, Passengers, Hangars, etc.) took an upgrade over the last couple of years. The only things that remained the same were the number of daily gifts (which could also increase on a Level basis), and also the number of neighbors to visit (which have remained at max 12). How about linking both the # of gifts and the # of neighbors to visit per day to in-game progress? For instance, for each Level increased, one may add one more gift per day. For each number of hearts (beyond 9 which is currently the max) one can visit more neighbors.

Another suggestion for 2K17 is to introduce a "Collect them All" feature for the coins. With the commercial buildings expanding and the size of cities growing, collecting coins is becoming a pain, to the point where an advanced levels player needing more than 2-3 minutes sometimes to collect all commercial income. I understand that residential buildings are different, in the sense that the maximum terminal capacity limits and enforces a strategy in collecting the passengers. But with the commercial income unrestricted, the only restrictions I see is when there is a side quest that requires you to visit a specific commercial facility, which either way, the "Collect them All" feature would do exactly the same. Of course I understand that this may implicate the pop-ups which offer resetting a building's timer and instantly produce the income, or the frog popups. But I think that the customer satisfaction would by far exceed the problems generated by the popups and the frustrations of many players. Besides, if a player wishes to reset a specific building (i.e. a planetarium, a quest-item producing building such as the burial vaults or the snow melting facilities from the two previous quests) they can do so without any issue, as they can tap on that building and wishfully select to reset its timer.

Please consider these options because they would definitely help a large number of players who may not share the same enthusiasm that we all had when we started playing AC four + years ago :)
 
Considering that nowadays it takes 600 flights to 3 star a Condor destination, requiring gifts (like VR Headset) to fly, compared 120 flights to 3 star the original Jumbos flights, the game has indeed progressed to a higher level.

Yet the number of gifts remain the same at 20!! No wonder people create support games to send more gifts to their 200+ neighbours.

It is high time for number of gifts to be raised according to your level!

Oh, a "collect all" button for Launch Ready boxes would also be welcome.

With regards to the neighbours 20 gifts limit - this subject matter comes back round on a regular basis. I believe it should be increased to at least 50 gifts - this is one of the first things I would do if I became the 'big cheese' at GI. I would also remove the pop-ups, award one green note for 150 stars, 2 green notes for 300 stars etc. among other changes.

When you have such a successful global game, played by millions and earning millions, you do not need to be tight fisted with your players. Some generosity would be good for players and for business.

I agree totally - the game is successful and it is an excellent game but it looks like the big boss's at GI have realised it's a cash cow.

Casino, bank and mint are a perfect example, currently there is virtually a two tier game going on - those lucky enough to get them last time and those who do not. GI must make a decision, do they offer these buildings which give the green notes we all crave or do they leave it and then we are forced to buy green notes. Sadly it's the way of commerce - bleed them dry while they can.

But if they think about it and expand gifting, allow CBM etc then there will always be new players coming along who won't have them and may go and purchase them through the store

This games reputation hit rock bottom last year with the poor programming and terrible support service.

They should aim for quality and customer satisfaction and the commercial side will flourish even more.

The new challenges appear to increase the fuel needed for flights as time passes.
An idea for future challenges: Use the weather conditions as happens in reality. When there is fog or rain, flights are deviated to another airport (you could gain less experience or money per flight) or the landing is delayed. This could happen randomly and increasing as the end of the event arrives. The current indiscriminate increase of fuel is unrealistic and it doesn't like any

And I would love to be able to speed up the repairs of the big planes without having to spend banknotes. Perhaps a very expensive factory that produces one object per day to repair those planes. Or that for each type of plane needs a different object and the factory produces one randomly per day.

Hey all!

It's been a few months since my previous 'state of affairs' post and I've received several requests to let you know what's coming next. Well, we're still finalizing our plans for the whole year internally, but there's no reason to keep you in the dark about what we've already decided and is a 'work in progress' now.

  • Some of the older special events will make a return this year with new rewards for completing them; On the Wings of Love and The Spring Has Come to name a few.
  • We've done extensive work on our terrain generation system and starting with update 5.1 you'll see your neighbor cities load a lot faster; it's more noticeable on weaker devices, of course.
  • Daily missions that are similar to those we have at Facebook. Difficulty of the tasks varies based on your level.
  • More levels, more destinations, more planes. You'll be able to explore new locations with your Condor plane, including Lagos, Prague, Karachi, Dallas and Bangor, Maine — and then we'll move on to smaller birds again.
  • More collections and buildings, obviously. It's hard to top a Card Castle, but we have a few aces up our sleeves, so to speak. There's a sketch of one of the new buildings below, and more conventional residential and commercial properties are coming as well.
  • New adventures. Everyone's favorite way to get random collectible items daily is sure to be back with a vengeance! We've just completed The Wheel of Time ark of 6 collections, and are exploring our options with new directions those adventures might take you to.
  • New special events! We've done several of them last year and intend to introduce new and exciting challenges this year as well.
  • Space launches and competition of alliances are among the most popular activities in Airport City, and I hope we'll bring you major updates for both in 2017.

I’ve thought I’ve got it covered with 'major updates' concerning space launches! We’ll see how it goes. There’s a lazy way of doing it and a proper way. The lazy way is to upgrade existing space buildings to a new level and get some additional collections and buildings from a new space mission while changing nothing at a game core. We could have done it already, but I believe that’s boring, and we all deserve some new gameplay from space missions. Space, after all, is all about big dreams.
I have been brainstorming about it since I read and a bit surprising that nobody commented it.
So there will will be a big, core level change in the game ... My guess is a Space Station, where we can assemble the space ship for the Mars mission. (I will be so big that it can't be launched from the surface.) We could switch to view and manage the station like we visit a neighbor's city. It could be expandable like our city right now (probably for gems) to add more solar panels for example. First we would need to equip our station with necessary modules than could start building the spaceship. To haul all the parts to the station we would need several shuttle trips.
More or less this is what I can imagine. Your opinions?

I meant Collectible Item's not the item's in warehouse.
I am not in favour of being able to send/Sell item's from warehouse that we don't need, It's not a fair deal.We should pay to get waste out of our warehouse not receive.

Why would it not be a fair deal. It's things that I cannot use but that maybe other players can - the essence of the game is joining together to help each other out so I cannot understand how using my useless items to help others would not be fair.

Why should I have to pay to remove waste that I did not choose to have in my warehouse- the waste comes from random collection drops.
