My long term plan on Gold tokens is to save for the next 18-24 months for CBM's but I know if S2 Falcons or Privates or Condors come around, that's the trap i'd fall into.

Well, there's this update that's coming tomorrow soon (bad luck announcing release dates) — it has a few challenges and long-term goals both for new and experienced players. Over 50 new flights to master — and that's just the beginning. :)
I hear termites, grasshoppers, fleas, spiders.... all kinds of bugs.

Regarding preps, I'm around 6k for red and I started much later then then biggest players. I also don't launch daily a lot (more intensive during weekends). This is the strategy part of the game. Best use of resources available. When platforms were separated, I was not being able to do many launches as there was not enough people with enogh resources to do it (but preps were being gathered regularly). Now there are many neighbors but many are short on preps. Everyone need to adapt their gameplay that will suit their needs and availability of resources. Last 6 months were hectic in terms of launches, almost everyone did it endlesly.
when red was introduced to win phone we barely managed to get 2-3 launches to get first planetariums (big thanks to few members here still playing the game - they will know).

Hi, Ivan.
Would you be kind enough to clarify the following?

1) Do we still get reputation points from the existing ranking based on # passengers carried, in addition to points from the new alliance missions?

2) Percentage completion of missions - Is the base determined by the maximum #member allowed for the alliance, or actual #member at the time of weekly reset?
(e.g. Max number for alliance is 14, but there are only 12 members. 3 tasks for each member assigned. Is the base determining percentage of completion 3x14 or 3x12?)

3) What happens if a member leaves the alliance after weekly reset? How is it handled?

Thank you in advance for your reply.

I would like gi to come up with new ways for us to actually spend real money to help support the game .As I write this I have 10 million coins 2k greens so I'm not going to buy these when offers are on ..There are a lot of players like me who maybe want to support the game but don't know how to . I'm not throwing away money for the sake of it like buying greens for no reason ..Maybe they could come up with new ideas to buy things . I used to spend at least on average £10 a week but since the casino offer I spend zero ...
So - gotta ask. Are you still feeling guilty for not spending more real $$ after this debacle of an update? :D:D:D

1. No.
2. Actual #member at the time of weekly reset. Those who join an alliance during the week will get to participate starting next week. However, missions are more difficult for alliances that don't have max. amount of members. Missions for alliances with 3/4 members will be harder than for 4/4 members, for example.
3. If a member leaves the alliance, you'll not be able to complete your alliance mission 100% that week, because the number of tasks to complete will stay the same. Therefore the alliances that have a tendency to frequently expel their members, will have a hard time earning many reputation points.

Nobody can finish 100% anyway.
Unless Avengers team or Justice League.

So let me get this right......if in an alliance we are forced to attempt these ridiculous numbers
or the alliance is stuck?!?!?! That has got to be one of the worst ideas I have ever heard in
40+ years of gaming.
So for example I need to do 420 giant flights. That is 420 blankets and
420 wireless compass. I can get maybe 80 or so blankets from my laundries, then I need to get
770 gifts from neighbors per week, not even mentioning the fuel needed to do that !!!!!!!! not even mentioning the other 2 tasks needed.
That is completely non sustainable.
I think someone was smoking some 420 stuff when they thought this up. o_O

We are suddenly expected to fly more then 3 stars worth to 3 destinations in 7 days... And that's not considering fuel and flight items as @Wired Parrott said above.

Alliance leveling will completely die out if these numbers don't change drastically.

And some alliance destinations require flight items like Additional Radars and I assume others and require these in insane numbers. Items that are used for OL mining.

So I was under the impression the percentages would be based on flights taken to the alliance destinations. If a have a denominator of 12 (3 destinations x 4 alliance members) then we aren't going anywhere anytime soon and I doubt many are

My easiest destination requires additional radars and 160 flights. I'm lucky to fly 200 flights per week with 10 planes and I know I don't have any flight items in that quantity.

The numbers are certainly going to have to come down. I don't mind it being a challenge and require strategic thinking about what to do, but this is just way too high. For newer players than me (I've only played 6 months) it will be next to impossible even if you cut the flights 50%

I love the concept but the numbers have to get tweaked significantly to make this something flyers want to do

I've wondered the same thing many times during leveling up. All of a sudden there will be a drastic change in the amount of coins or experience points needed to get to the next level. Whoever sets these numbers must not be able to do math. I never have figured out why the more you upgrade a building the less efficient it becomes.
