It should be 6 hrs behind GMT. Which means 5pm at the launch party time, will be 12noon central time U.S

Yes, central time is 6 hrs behind GMT but that would mean 5 pm GMT is 11 am Central time.
I think the easiest way to avoid any miscalculations would be to post here something like a countdown when you can like "5 hours to go" "4 hours to go" and so on. That way, nobody needs to calculate anything and all know when they should get their red pads ready.

16hours Countdown to Party...

I want to welcome you all again to the launch party and to remind you it's 16hours from now. During the course of launches let's try as much as possible to respect one another and avoid circumstances of insulting one another. We should also, try to tolerate each other no matter the level of annoyance coming from other players. Don't get too infuriated by what other players may say. It's just a game, so enjoy it why it last.

Also, I want to reiterate that no one will be an exception as everyone will be treated fairly but let's give preferences to ql owners. Because, when you do, you enjoy more launches and as well save enough coins, silver and gold to develop your airport city.
