Punishment for a GI's bugs/errors

I have been going back and forth with GI regarding my blocked account for several days and received this email today:

"I have received a final answer from our specialists. They stay uncompromising
At the moment you have 2 otions at the moment:
- to play further with social restrictions;
- to reinstall the game and start it anew with all the purchases reapplied.
Looking forward to help you out!"

Unfortunately, it does not appear that my game will be restored even though it was blocked for a cheat that I NEVER used. The only way I can see continuing to play is if GI finally unblocks ALL Apple players games like they did for Android players. Otherwise, I may just finish out the stars on the remaining destinations and call it quits.

I have many, many great neighbors that I can't send gifts to or even join launches with them. It just makes the game much less enjoyable. GI has ruined an otherwise great game.

Are you able to receive gifts from iOS players at least? My blocked game can't do that either...

Up until yesterday, I could receive gifts from iOS players that I could not send gifts. As of the new update, I can't even visit iOS neighbors!!!

My tale of woe.

Bought some green, offer of x for 96, and was surprised to receive 1344 green.

Did the honest thing, contacted support ( is that the action of a hacker /cheater?) and advised them I had been overpaid, and was informed I'm a cheater because of the time travel thing.

News to me. I travel frequently for my job and apparently the game can't cope with the automatic time zone changes that are applied to my IPad, and hence I get labelled a cheater ? Nice piece of stable software guys.

This marks my first and last post, as the game is now dead to me. We'll done GI, another happy customer.

I actually emailed them this morning, complaining of the business travel bug and the rush-to-judgement mentality the support team seems to have. I think their overzealousness is out of control. It's unfortunate when an addicting game begins to go to pot. I really want to enjoy it longer, but they're making it very, very hard.

Wow, that sounds like typical GI support. If I was an Android user I too would be p*ssed!! It is bad enough they are continuing doing this to iOS users, but to unblock Android users and not you - UNACCEPTABLE!! Good luck in your ongoing battle.

When she comes back that you took an unfair advantage, tell her that GI giving all Android users but you an opportunity to be unblocked is an unfair advantage. It will get you nowhere, but they need to keep hearing it.

So that we could proceed with the case and restore your previous game progress I would like you to perform the following actions:
1) Please, write down your friend code.

To see your friend code tap Sociality (the button with 3 people in the bottom menu) → press another button with 3 people → choose the Friend codes tab.
2) Delete the game from your device.
To delete the game please follow the instructions: Go to Settings -> choose Applications -> Manage applications and choose the required application. You will see some options available. Press the Uninstall button to delete the game.
3) Install the game from Google Play.
4) Complete the tutorial.
5) Send me your new friend code
This information will help me to assist you further! Thank you for playing our game!

vayka1, sounds like a normal restore of the game. You need to play a few levels. The gifts after level (I think) 5 are the new gifts for the game, so if you don't like the gifts, start over again before contacting GI to restore the buildings etc....

I've deleted and started the game VAYKA1 again and played the tutorial ( after uninstalling a few times to get a propper giftlist)
Sended my new friendcode to GIS yesterday and this morning i received the Restore Code.
So i was very happy offcourse, I entered the code and voila..... my game came back again.
But when i tried to visit a friend...........the pop-up came back again that i couldn't visit my neighbor, DAMN!!!
Further more i saw that my giftlist did changed and is equal to the start-over game.
My old friendcode (y85l8j) is shown in my profile and not the new code from the start-over game.
My questions to you are: 1) Must i wait 24 hrs. and see if my game resets?? 2) Is it normal that i got my old friendcode back??
Please, can someone answer these questions??

Hi vayka1, In my experience with sari2 (restore game)...Yes, It's normal to get your old friend code back...
I have my old friend code on sari2 when GI restored my game..and not the new friend code when I re-start the game.
Just wait and I hope tomorrow you will able to send gifts again

No you do not need to wait 24 hours for game reset.
You should be showing your new code. I suspect that GI overlaid parts of your new game over the old one instead of the other way around.

When I restarted my game I received a new code and items and got some but not all my buildings back, I got tired of going back anf forth with GI, so I restored a back up and took a loss in levels and buildings.

I have my new game still saved in case of problems.
