The place I had it was a sports bar so you don't really expect really good food at a place like that. It really was a lot better than I was expecting and it was a lot of food. We only went there because I got a 'Pub Pass' where I can get a free beer at 25 different Breweries or Restaurants in 2018 and this was one of the places I could go.

@luxurycat It sounds like you live in Germany now...where are you? I lived there for 6 years as a kid and tried Leberkaese once...never again for me personally.

Well I am now living in Lübeck, the crown of the hanse. And as we from this part of germany say: Up ewig ungedeelt!

Take away food tonight - Chinese style - spring rolls, chicken curry, steamed rice, bean shoots, chicken chowmein, crackers and Belgian bear - plenty for family and friends.

people at work here make some for selling in the deli upstairs, and if they have some over it gets thrown out, or someone like me steps in, its so nice

Sounds delicious, but one question: Spicy or really spicy? Because we as a family love spices at all. In the homegarden of my wife we can harvest hot pepper, I mean really hot one.

Well many of my fellow friends from my country (Germany) would subscribe it, I have to admit, since I am married no way - spice makes the food tasty...don't think beyond...

as i have gotten older i have started to stretch out and try different food, a lot of indian is nice

growing up we never had any different other than sausages, meat, mash potato, peas etc

now its chinese, indian etc

The Rogan Josh dish is always spicy, I like to order it that way. When I prepare the dish at home, I tend to cook it medium spice, for those who do not like it too spicy.
