One of those things, I really do not like Liver - and yet you get the best gravy!Pub lunch for today - calf's liver with sauté hispi cabbage, creamy mashed potato, crispy onion rings and rich beef gravy - with chilled white wine.

I spend my university and post university life in Leeds before moving to france. Hope you get the chance in Yorkshire to try Pakistani food. The real thing!!One of those things, I really do not like Liver - and yet you get the best gravy!
Having moved house a couple of months ago we are trying the local Indian for the first time - wish us luck!!!

Indian very good - three meat dishes - Chicken Passanda (basically tandoori chicken in an almond and red wine sauce) which was very sweet and mild so won't have that again. Chicken Multani (spices, tomatoes and yoghurt) medium hot and really nice but would have been better with lamb than chicken so note for next time, and a Lamb Bhuna which is always a favourite. Will go back, so that's good, and the rice, nan bread, chapatis etc. were all good too. Great success with lager to wash it down!Yes,I have not forgotten you do not like liver, and you are quite right about the gravy. I look forward to reading about your local Indian restaurant experience.
