General Sands of Time

I am playing this game for 2,5 years now. As I love aircrafts and flying in general, I was hooked from day 1. I met wonderful people here and I consider some of you as my friends, even if we didn´t met in person. I have great times with the game time after time and although I am mad sometimes about some parts of the game (like this event), I was never put to position, that I would want to leave. I understand that for everyone this day will come and I hope that it will be long from today for me.

But I want to share my greatest achievement so far and that is the sweet completion of Sands of Time 36 times. That means 36 golden chests and 36 Sky Captain bonuses. To this day, this is my best moment with Airport City and I want to thank all of you that give me advice, that help me with gifts and also better understand the game. BIG thank you!!! ♥🙏

Just opened them. Funny thing is I have enough gold but not enough silver
And yes, you are right about the S2 planes. I need to be extra carefull not to click on it. Especially the Condor 😂

Wise old timer told me never to open chests till you’re ready to use them. Avoids all chances of accidents. That was after I accidentally bought a S2 falcon! Never opened one since till spend it.

I never, ever, ever keep gold tokens in my bar. A long time ago I got hit with a ‘time travel’ ban (for no reason) and it robbed ~450 gold off of me! G! Refused to return to. Never again 😤

My finger cannot resist those blue [Collect] buttons or ! anywhere on the screen. As much as my mind screams resist it, my finger 'sees' a blue [Collect] button and reflexes kick in; click blue [Collect] button gone.

They never gave you an explanation as to why you were supposedly "cheating"? It seems like if they are going to "rob" you, you would at least know why. I mean the guy on the street gets robbed cause he's flashing gold, jewelry, Rolexes, and walks threw a part of town at midnight that's got broken street lamps on it. What else did they think was going to happen? I mean you can see that coming. Your situation is different. I would want to know what they considered "cheating" so I make sure I didn't do it again and not get things taken away. That's not being fair. So at any time, they can just come in and take things away and ban you for no explanation? Who the *%$# do they think they are? Communists? (No offense to communists, ...but ok, ya, maybe a little)

They would unblock you (they knew their system was crap), but wouldn’t return the items. Luckily, you’d usually only lose online features..... but it happened. At the time, gifting/visiting was all based on local (device) time too, not UTC.

For the record, that was on an ipad mini 2 around 2012-2016 ish. After that things got a lot better. I’ve only been hit with a ban once in the last 3 or so years, and somehow it resolved its self before G! responded to the ticket.
