I find that the drop from the Alien Legacy is the same as the drops from flights - Wheat, Biscuits, Thermal Garment and Portable Audio Player are the items that seem to be the most scarce. When I view my Collections I a few dozen of the other items and I'm always looking for the above.
OPEN Question to all - is this similar in your games? -- Bill -- PS another day #3 and NO usernames

In my experience, it's random. Right now I have 56 Lab Rats, 50 Frogs, 34 Blue-Green Algae, 25 Wheat and 0 Fruit Flies in the Experiments in Space Collection. I'm grinding Cape Canaveral flights every two hours and every time Fruit Flies drop I give myself a mental high-five.

My rocket is still in the air, Bill. It should land around 11 AM Pacific Daylight Time, which would be two hours after your launch. I will try to join you then. I'll be careful not to go past you, but if someone else does, do I have your permission to go past them? I mistakenly "hijacked" a neighbor's launch way back when, not knowing it was bad form. I don't want to do that again. Let me know!

I am in the process of coming to the same conclusion. I have 2 lots of 2 butterflies on one of my games and just 2 butterflies on the other. I think the chance of completing this quest are slim to none! Will try to remember to send FC.

If I hear you I am very lucky... Need 3 butterflies on iPhone and android... And 7 butterflies on iPad.... With 7 days left...
Drops differ from day to day. Yesterday no drops (in 3 games) day before a good drop rate...

Just tried an experiment, I still have a few soul nets in stock so just used one, when the timer ran out and the flowers and butterfly icons came back I clicked on the ones on screen and got 4 flowers and two butterfly's, it may be just a lucky go but it worked for me.

I don't believe iOS players can gift defrosters. I'm not sure if Android players can but I doubt it; you might want to check out the Android section of this forum.
I got mine from flights to Dubai. It took a while but they finally dropped enough for me to build six Flight Catering facilities.

Yes alien legacys are a waste of space! Im also concentrating on finishinh the 3 stars rather than the quest.My Achilles heels are lilies, lab rats, all butterflies, thermal suits & portable audio players. Great to have names back!!! I'm travelling this week but will match gifts to names when I get back. Thanks for all received gifts....any spare props would be great!
