I hope this maintenance fixes some ongoing problems with my game. The latest is that the game seems to go into some type of a 'loop'. The radar display lines (arms?) in the radar displays do not scroll smoothly in the circle. They move from the middle of the upper right quarter and just cross the horizontal line into the bottom right quarter, and then jump back into the upper right quarter. When this is happening, if I try to scroll about the screen (move about my airport) the screen jumps back to the lower right corner or the upper left quarter. After a while (10 to 20 minutes) the game seems to settle down. The game also seems to work normally for an hour or so, if I shut down AC, force stop it, purge the cache, shut down the tablet and then start up the tablet again.

If the maintenance does not fix my games performance, I'll have to write to GI about it.

Wow - it worked - look what I posted 20 minutes ago :)

GI are a commercial company. making money from their customers (us).

As such, they are providing a service. Yes occasionally updates need to be made, but presumably their plan indicates how long this should take, how long it might take, and a worst case scenario (cancel the updgrade and roll back).

They should tell us the worst case scenario up front, than as the hours/days/weeks progress, update their customers (us) as to progress: eg "we're 4 hours into the upgrade - all going to plan - still on target to complete by 16:00".

It's called communication!

It doesn't matter if it's good or bad, any reputable service delivery company needs to keep their customers informed - otherwise they will vote with their feet!

So GI - what was the plan, and how is it progressing?

It is all we ask - keep us up-to-date

Still not working for me. Plus, overnight, I've lost a powerful Delta. Its showing in my warehouse still but it never returned from Iceland this morning? Has there been an eruption which has taken it out?

On a serious note, how do I raise a ticket or should I just wait till maintenance is over?
