With respect to event item drops from buildings, I would give the 'ballpark' figures as; Often ~20-30% (i.e. 1 in 3 to 1 in 5) chance. Very Seldom ~7-10% (i.e. 1 in 10 to 1 in 14) chance.

I think the device is just too old and not powerful enough. I have a game on Ipad Mini 2 and it crashes everyday. Probably 2/3 times a day, and all I do on it is send gifts.
