As long as someone has launched the rocket, you will be fine. I have left my supports for days before with a rocket in progress, without hitting launch. When I come back to it, it launches and instantly completes.

I Suspect it will become a passenger producing building. I have all the others, which are passenger producers the rest of the year (with different specs to the romantic producers I.e. different number, and different time period). I can’t tell you what the spec would be though.

The maps you are referring to (Vinci, Florence etc) are usually referred to as Adventure maps on the forum. Excavations are the single use flight items, and have excavations within the name. I think this is the source of some confusion on this thread.
