I'm afraid I have to take full responsibility for it. It's not a bug, it's a feature, although that was not a feature coming from Airport City game design team. If a significant number of players will not find this feature helpful, we can roll it back to how it was previously.

A quick reminder here that we don't have the 'Update now' pop-up in the game immediately after the update is available. If you are on iOS 13, you could check for any app updates manually by tapping on your App Store avatar and swiping down from the top.

Thanks everyone for reporting the ghost guest planes bug. We've found out why it happened and it looks like any ghost planes above Jumbo — Giant, Falcon, Thunderbird, Condor — are not counting at the moment. We might be able to release a server fix either later tonight or tomorrow.

Yeah, this is a bit rough launch day for such a small update. The usual ratings should be fixed now or within a few minutes (thanks!), guest plane timer, too, in a few minutes (thanks!), event ratings are still being fixed.

The event ratings haven't started yet. It's a tech issue, we're investigating it.
