Thank you all for the gifts to jpjpjp4. Have my first hangar and sled ready, going for a second one. Prepairing for the moment the game gets unblocked. After that I can actually buy the runway but now collecting items in my own game by hitting elves already works, but can't fly, can't visit, can't gift

Visited 45 Christmas Gift Shop from neighbors and got 8 gifts (4 Eurasia, 2 Australia and 2 Africa)
My great problem will be Gifts for North America. Two days and no drops, zero drops.

This was the same last year, i finished only needing one more Christmas present to complete the last flight to North America and collect the final star, just not dropping again

You need to BUY Xmas Gift Shop, not visit neighbours' gift shops.
Visiting neighbours' Xmas gift shop will not give you any gifts, I believe.

Xmas Gift Shops drop like 20-30% of the time and can be harvested once every hour, so you can get maybe 5 gifts per day if you play hourly. It's much better option than clicking on elves to get star dust and flying to Lapland to get random gifts.

If you buy the Xmas Gift Shop early in the game, then you get your 5 greens worth.

My apologies, I misread you post.
I rely on my Xmas Gift Shops for the Continent gifts, and only click on other Winter buildings & elves for the rest of the stuff.

But I do love this Xmas event, always the best quest of the year.
