How to use the code
In the game:
1. Press Social Button (3 people on it)
2. In menu opened, press similar icon again.
3. In the opened windows, click last tab "Add Friend"
4. In field below, where it is written "Please enter friend's username to..." enter full code (include the asterisks) and then click "Add" button. Voila!

Worked for me, the second time. I was so used to putting 404 that I didn't read it right. There is no 404 in the code.

I don't see anything regarding a Windows update...Nothing in the store yet (For me anyway). I just tried it on all 3 games again and it still doesn't work for me..
