Hi everyone,

My name is Ivan, and I'm Airport City producer and game designer here at Moscow, Russia. I've been with the team since September 2011, but the game itself is in a continuous development since March 2011. We're a studio called Road 404 that is a subsidiary of Game Insight. Our other released games are Sunshine Bay (Dave, if you wanted Airport City about yachts - that's about as far as it gets! You won't believe it, but by now it has submarine missions instead of space missions, too), Sky Adventures (this one didn't exactly become a hit, but had some fun things nonetheless; it's about planes and talking cats, check it out in the App Store), and Transport Empire (steampunk railroad management, if you are into it).

But first things first: thanks for your feedback and support! Throughout the years it was an immense help. You often wonder, why certain things don't get fixed fast, or why updates aren't coming sooner. Well, that's not because we don't want to, but rather we just have a small team: at no point there were more than six people working at Airport City, and this includes both all mobile versions and several versions for social networks (Facebook, and regional Russian, Chinese, Korean and Japanese ones).

Well, it's Christmas and New Year is coming soon, and I've thought it'd be a perfect time to share some of our plans with you for the coming year. That's "for your eyes only" as our most loyal fans!

1. We will add new land expansions, but you have to understand: as greensmith correctly guessed, it is the limits of our game architecture that prevent us from doing it easily. Facebook and mobile versions are too very different games at its core, that's why there are more expansions there. We don't want to rush this and get any profiles corrupted.

2. Some of the features of Facebook version will make it to mobile, like Reserve Hangar.

3. Some buildings will start giving bonuses to the buildings around them. For example, parks will boost number of passengers in residential buildings nearby. This one is coming soon.

4. We have new bonuses coming soon as well, and I mean entirely new, not a rehash of the old ones with slightly different numbers. Save up your tokens for those.

5. Level cap will be raised, new planes are coming along with new destinations and collections. New planes don't necessarily mean they'll be bigger than Giant and consume all of your passengers for a single flight. The first one of this new pack is Falcon, try to guess which plane it is based on :)

6. New space missions! We are going to Mars, folks, and with some luck building a habitable base there. This is a major update, our own Half Life 3 so to speak, and it will take awhile to get done. We're taking any suggestions into consideration.

7. More co-op and plaver-versus-player gameplay with unique rewards. We hate cheaters that screw up ratings as much you do, and we'll try ensure they don't spoil the fun for all of us, especially when you and your friends are having your own aviation alliance and compete with other alliances.

8. We have a new cleaner interface coming soon, so if you are that kid on a block with iPhone 6, you won't be ashamed to play Airport City any more.

9. You'll be able to store buildings in inventory.

10. I hope, you do like our quests, because big story from Facebook will be continued and brought to mobile.

I can't tell you a release date on any of this, because as I've said - we're a small team actually, and the 3+ year old game tends to break a lot (yes, we're aware of the Quantum Leap issue) which really distracts us from making new features. But if you do have a must-have feature in mind that's not mentioned above, be it a major or a minor one, post it in the comments. Please limit it to one feature per comment, so that others may upvote it with likes (Dave, that's a nice feature!).

If you are still reading this, here's a little Christmas present for you: add a promo-code / friend "AirportCityRocks" before January 1st. This should work on iPad, iPhone, Android, Amazon, Windows Store and Windows Phone. And while we're at it: we'd love to give you guys who play on iPads / iPhones weekend promo-codes, but Apple's policy prohibits us from it, and we can't risk an app getting removed because of it.

Complete re-run of old events including reward building,

While experienced players have most buildings, for newer players how about a complete re-run of old events including reward building so newer players don't have to miss out. GI could have an old event playing while waiting for new updates,

For instance new update is (example) 3 weeks away how about have a re-run of old event while waiting

If experienced players don't want to play the same event twice they can hit an X to confirm they don't wish to play.

Play every day for 1 month & get a building that gives you?????
Play every day for 3 months & get a building that gives you green bank notes???
Play every day for 6 months & get a building that produces silver coins???

(Once you have earned the building GI can award it's players on a weekly/fortnightly/monthly basis with green bank notes/silver tokens/gold tokens

That are really very nice goals for 2015.

Love some new features, plus finally: Reserve Hangar (to store at least planes that are bought with tokens), Storing building in Warehouse - great!

My suggestion: Since many of us did not get chance to buy Casino, Bank or Mint, would be very good to repeat that with same or other buildings. :love:

I can only echo everything others have commented on above, but would emphasise for me personally, the land expansion and the ability to store planes etc purchased would be top of my 'wish list'...

I would also support those that have referred to the time cheating bug - for example, here in the UK our clocks go back and forth one hour every spring and autumn, from British Summer to GMT and back again....and the number of times I seem to get caught up with the 'time cheating bug' are numerous, and it is so frustrating, and always seems to take a volley of emails to and fro from GI support before finally they give me a code to restore my game....but it is the way they seem to assume you must have been cheating before even seeking first to understand what it is that I am saying in my emails...Almost as if they want me to leave the game, as they are often insistent that they cannot restore my game, although I know clearly they can, and just offer to set up a new game for me with the level I'm currently on...
As others have said, there must be a way to distinguish between the serial cheaters and those whose game time shifts an odd hour because of a clock change in their country, or they've gone abroad (in my case to France) for a holiday, and forgot to close my game properly on the ferry crossing because I was actually playing AC as there wasn't much else to do!
Happy new year to you and your team, thank you for taking the time to post in this forum, (especially as you did it on Boxing Day!) very very useful and gives us all a lot of understanding behind the issues etc, but also reassurance that these are being looked into and comments taken on board, and of course thankyou for the airportcityrocks bonus... (Thought I'd missed it, but just done it, and it worked)

And by the way, have been playing transport empire since July....fantastic game and a great update just released - well done !

Hello Ivan, here are some of my ideas.
1. Anything you put down in your city should be able to be removed and put back in your warehouse instead of an automatic sell. Some items took me 2 weeks to get and I had to delete to have more room.
2. Have warehouse have sub categories- I might have to search through 200 things to go to to see the inventory of something. Have more categories like, Halloween items, Christmas items, launch items, flight items.
3. No more 17 hour flights.
4. Being able to see who is on which launch pad before accepting that launch
5. Once on a launch, then be able to leave that launch and go to another with out launching
6. Separate category for neighbors you visit regular
7. Be able to communicate with neighbors by messaging of some sort
8. Be able to sell stuff in my warehouse that I don't need. I maybe be able to sell it to a neighbor
9. NEED A RESERVE HANGER FOR PLANES. Once you buy a airplane you should be able to warehouse it.
10. A fuel catalyst for launches, like their is for planes.
11. Be able to give fuel for launches with neighbors
12. More Land!!!!!!!!
13. Able to gift lower building items for newer players
14. Be able to buy more Additional fueling stations. Don't know why anybody would get 15 fuel in 8 hours when you can buy 10 fuel in 1 hour.
15. Make neighbor codes visible to invite
16. Once any item is purchased, should be able to warehouse it
17. Please to not restrict to only 6 buildings

18. STOP ACCUSING PLAYERS OF TIME TRAVELING WHEN THEY TRAVEL TO A DIFFERENT TIME ZONE!!!!!
19. A communication between players and GI

Free2Play I would like to reiterate the points made by @LAX I have a game that has been blocked for almost 2 years
I did get reasonable response from you team but ultimately the game was never unblocked. I know there was amnesty and many games were unblocked but not mine. I never knowingly did anything the game wouldn't allow
What I think is wrong is that your team never give an explanation but send out a pre-written response which is the best fit they feel is for your problem. Calling us cheaters and 'Duke dosent interact with people with suspicious activity Is unfair for some silly mistake of taking your game on holiday and using in a different time zone etc
By posting on this forum you will see that we are the people keeping your game popular and spend many hours playing a little support and explanation would be good from your team
Free2Play I know you and your team are very busy with you daily works for GI but it would have been nice to see your comments as this issue seems the be the most common complaint and grievance. I was hoping for some support

My ideas..
More fuel stations.
Maximum fuel has to be increased to at least 200 and regenerate much quicker.
Be able to send 3 different rockets at the same time without having to wait a full day for one to come back.
Increase the number of friends we can visit and gift.
Fuel catalyst to speed up much quicker.
New collections for smaller planes
Powerful Explosive Bolt to be more attainable..
Launch ready box shouldn't contain Solid Fuel
Be able to gift 50 fuel
Be able to gift maps for adventures
More collections to give secret faucet, dice, spyglass etc
Buildings that produces greens
Reserve hangers or stores for extra planes
Reduced time of flights...9 hour flights that drop nothing is a waste of time..
Prices of some buildings are too expensive and they give very little value

Item 1 fuel station is not really used once you have enough friends to gift 20 fuel and you would need to collect items that can only be gotten by flying for.
Item 2 may be a future consideration by GI
Item 3 maybe a future consideration by GI
Item 4 Is already available but it taxes time to build up to a maximum of approx. 15 people per day.
Item 5 is already available as gifts or can be purchased.
Item 6 future quests may come available that needs smaller planes but there are some collections that always use smaller planes.
Item 7 Yes, That is needed GI may consider making more available.
Item 8 Unfortunately that is part of the launch process and is one of the earlier level quests. If you built one earlier by the time you reach the higher levels you caan sell as you will have more solid fuel then you can use
and is available from some collections on an ongoing basis.
Item 9 Not really necessary as 20 fuel is more that enough for most flights and some collections do give you 50 fuel.
Item 10 I agree and may be come available in a future upgrade.
Item 11 maybe future consideration by GI
Item 12. Already available for higher level players with the bank and casino.
Item 13.Agree and is being considered by GI
Item 14 then you would not need fuel catayst.
Item 15 Gi is in the business of making money so some of the buildings require you to spend real money to build it.

You have some good new ideas and some of your ideas will be implemented in future updates..

Hello Ivan, as a die hard AC player I would like to have the free items everyone else enjoyed. I was on vacation in another time zone so I could not open Airport City without being accused of cheating. Christmas is the most traveled time of year, and I think I deserve the free stuff everyone else got.

I am pleased to say my phone game happyhelen2 has been restored today, thanks to Anton.
However I have been unable to play for several months due to the last update being too large for my phone.
I have missed the Santa quest, however I have also missed out on the gesture of 30 greens!
Can I have a restore code for this?

Thank you very much for gracing us in this forum. I've read your original post ages ago and been planning on drafting a post here but never got to it so I'll just do a quick one.

First and foremost, thank you very much for the generous Christmas gift! Much appreciated. There were times when we players felt neglected but you being here lets us know that you care.

My request is a re-run of the alien quest called It Came from Outer Space. There was a huge issue at the time and many players like me were not able to play for almost 2 weeks.
