Ok we are starting to get things mixed up, so this is what I suggest:
1) Positions can only be claimed two launches in advance. After ever launch, the participants gather to claim their spot for the second launch, since the 1st one wouldve been determined already.
2) If one just claimed captain for the first launch, they can't claim captain for the next launch unless nobody wants to be captain. Claims for captain are first come, first served, and will always be determined immediately after the day's launch.

3) As a note, if I'm not captain, I will always go for 3rd unless I state otherwise. The reason why the dailies were started was for me to support @Teboho in a top 3 spot, and going for captain sometimes.

Let me know if you guys are ok with the first two rules.

Youre welcome. So we know today and tomorrow's launch....and sunday I believe. After tomorrow's launch, we will determine the positions for monday, then sunday we determine for tuesday, and so on. When you post the positions, we should see two days at a time so that everyone is aware

Usually thats what we do, but not everyone wants to be captain all the time. Plus, it gives a chance for all the other positions to get filled out, so that at launch time, there is no question.
As for your time, we usually reset the time when time creep occurs, so we can always skip a day and launch the following day at a more convenient time for everyone

It's up to you guys, but a rotation would be another list that @Aviatrix would have to maintain. That would be two launch lists and a captain rotation list. If you claim your positions after a launch, it ensures participation in the thread as well as evidence for when a claim was stated. Some days you may make a launch, some days you may miss it. A rotation list is better for something more short term like a QL party. However, if our lovely assistant would like to maintain a 3rd list and everyone wants a rotation for captain, then thats fine by me.
