iOS Crashing

I also started having issues on my iPad starting yesterday night.
Laggy, crashes, no progress saved.



I am also on iOS 10.3.3.
No problem until yesterday. How is your game today??

Today it has been running smoothly. However, I didn't try to visit neighbors. That was my biggest source of crashing. Perhaps I will try later.

I wouldn’t visit them. Game still crashes for me once In awhile but it’s almost immediate after visiting neighbors. That’s when I star losing stuff too

Neighbour visits and gifts Insta-crash for me. It seems like it crashes after about 30 seconds of general use too and progress not saved. Just time to log on, pick up passengers and land/launch flights. Pretty inconvenient that I can't do visits, space launches, or land guest planes.

Much worse over last 24h, which is odd as it's not like there's been an update. Hope it gets sorted soon!

it doesnt seem to be be related to the update, but perhaps with the update i feel it is storing too much information, therefore crashing
ie when you visit neighbours, gifts, and videos etc
my thoughts on it

So I would expect an update until 28th or 29th at the earliest.

I only started having problems Tuesday evening (UTC Wednesday morning). First symptom was that every time I returned from visiting Madlen (to reset elves) the same 2 guest planes reappeared on my runway needing to be refueled. Then it started crashing when I visited neighbors. Then it started randomly crashing at other times, even when not visiting neighbors. Every time I returned to the game (after visiting other apps) it would freeze for about 15 seconds before starting. Finally it crashed a minute after I redeemed the happyxmas code, taking the bonus 8 greenies with it.

I am still running iOS 10 on a iPad mini. Nothing about my system has changed in the last several days, so I don't know why it just started crashing tonight.

@Robobobo888 The first symptom started before, with the first release with helicopters. If you leave a plane on the runway and do something else like visiting neighbors or switch AC to background, it won't complete the action and you'll see it on the runway as soon as you come back, waiting for refueling.

I was trying to ascertain why and if he couldn't get in touch via the forum link then maybe to try contacting GI by going straight to the GI Website

About crashing issue: There was update for android and windows, and even after that it looks some still have issue.
Please, open a ticket and send me a ticket number. Describe what is going on with your game.

There was still no fix for iOS. Some have big problem with playing the game on iOS. We can hope fix will solve this issue.
My game is working for now, but I have big lag with visiting neigbours (15-40 second waiting) or Launch room is not opening.... Let's wait and see.

3rd day my game doesnt open. Do we have any information about Ios fix? I might have tried to open the game 200 times just to try if it will open some time. I opened a ticket, support asked me to sent crash report, i sent it to them and now i am just waiting .

Thanks @Gt city and my apologies if I'm not supposed to be tagging you either. My ticket # is 8183440, but to be honest I'm now having a lot fewer issues that others because I can at least play the game. I did find out this morning it's going to the tech team after providing one of the many crash logs from my device.

The biggest issues I'm seeing is as follows
1) The game will lag for a good 30-45 seconds after startup or after switching back to it from another app. Occasionally it will just lag intermittently at times
2) The game will crash if I go visit neighbors and I will lose a number of items because the game doesn't seem to be synching. It either does it on the second neighbor visit or sometime shortly after the first one if I don't go visit a second neighbor. I've worked around this but just forgoing neighbor visits until I know this is fixed or once the Santa event ends.
3) There is a long lag in the following: Accepting neighbor's gifts, placing a building into my city or airport, or accepting new neighbor requests. In some cases the game just crashes but as long as I'm waiting out the lag I seem to be fine.
4) Watching the daily videos usually works but the first one always freezes my game and then again a few videos later.


I haven't seen issues with the game not starting up or in sending gifts like others have. If you want other info send me a PM and let me know.

This is a little different. That's what I thought at first, but I started definitely waiting until the planes were fueled and had taken off. Then I even landed some other guest planes, 1 at a time, serviced them and let them take off. Then I went visiting or switched to another app, and when I came back the same 2 original guest planes were back.

I'm not 100% sure of my memory of this but I think I even force-closed the game, re-opened it, and the 2 planes were back. At that point once I sent them on their way they stayed gone.

During the time with the reappearing guest planes the other actions I took in the game did take effect as normal. I was not losing progress in general, I just had 2 reappearing guest planes. I got my final 2 rocket sleighs and built hangars for them; those stuck around.

A few hours later on I did have some crashes that lost progress. I completed flights, the game crashed, I came back and had to complete those flights again. The worst lost for me was the 8 greenies from the happyxmas bonus.
