I'm trying to do the event on my support account (level 29) and the event seems achievable in a few days, even with the limited number of neighbors it has(about 50).

Anyway I should have 6 Retro Movie Theaters and 6 VIP Lounges by tomorrow. Good Luck everyone!

Just a little public service announcement don't just visit neighbors vip lounges without looking for
retro theaters. Retros always drop as vips drop often you have a guaranteed 5 drops if they have 6
retros. I have had several people visit my vips without looking for my retros. I think I am just going
to store the vips as I have all the bowties collected. ( I knew those stupid golden toads would have a use someday)

Anyone guessing what the reward could be?, I am getting films drop in pretty much every guest plane, got 25 so far. And i am on low level, can't afford so many upgrades at this time. Is it worth to spend money for these buildings?

The reward us the "Filming Location" building shown in the corner of the Cinemania Event info box. Bonus +10% coins, Radius 2. Max population + 20. Also produces 210 coins every 2 days.

I have 6 VIP lounges and 6 movie theaters under construction right now. They will be up as soon as they can open for current neighbors only.

BFly2 will have 5 movie theaters tomorrow and is accepting neighbors - 20ohltpp

Just a reminder, as pointed out earlier by @Wired Parrott

Visit the Retro Theaters BEFORE the VIP Lounges. You will ALWAYS get a drop from the Retro Theatrer, as compared to often from the VIP lounge.
