Just been visiting and popped into as many event buildings as I could, including carriage workshops where I could find them. Drop rate - zilch, not one event item from any of them. Well disappointed!

Although it was me who sounded alarm about hardness of this quest it's been going surprisingly smoothly.
After I'd built a Carriage Workshop other quest building came to life, so to speak. The 2nd quest day is over and I've got 3 Workshops and 4/5 of one Little Tragedies collection. No boosts used. Maybe this quest is not that bad after all. Even Workshops gave 2 items already.
I didn't try to harvest neighbors for quest items and can't tell the drop rate there.
PS. Carriage Workshops produce ordinary Passengers.

You are lucky. I am a day behind because I didn't get the upgrade, but my planes aren't dropping anything. Nothing. At this rate I will not get a Workshop.

Many thanks for those received - slightly better drop rates on the quest. Lack of time to play is not helping though.

Still awaiting one drop to complete first carriage workshop but partly my own fault for not concentrating too much on flights and trying to stockpile romantic passengers.

I managed to get one workshop so far, using the spyglass. My problem is I'm running out of room, population and electricity! After I get my terminal upgrading, then I can work on moving items to warehouse and building another coal station.

Such great neighbours here, received so many gifts and could only return 20.

The event seems a tough one. Can't send all my planes to this destinations because I don't have enough romantic passengers. Drop rate is very poor, nothing from my planes and visiting 12 neighbours only brought some passengers but nothing for the collections.
I've read that some of you also didn't get anything.

I have one of each buildings but don't have space to build more. Always welcome in my city for a visit.

@PeterNL : hope your game will be fixed soon.

All gifts were out this AM UTC-6 or around 3-5AM CST from !KB and !KB2, although shame on me I went back to bed, as was up 1AM.
I miscounted I'm very sorry to say. In !KB I thought I had 6 of each Event buildings but lack one Outdoor Cinema. Probably not really missed I'm sure, what with everything else taking up 1/5 of my town lol.
!KB2 although much smaller in land area, I did manage to squeeze in everything from midway, toward the left side running from front to back. A few might still be under construction but will be operational in my AM hours,

Hi - you don't need to be at that level - the gifts and their slots are there, they are just hidden until you reach the level needed. I ill send you a hand dryr, if you hit return it should send whatever is in your hidden slot - thanks fir agreeing to try, fingers crossed I gift in around an hour.
