As for the "condescending" part of your statement regarding the new member posts, they are simply guidelines for people to follow. Yes, sometimes they do already have a signature, and they very well may also know some of the things that are put in that welcome. Just trying to guide some new people on how to jump in and have some fun, because, you know, it's only a game, and that's what we're here to do.

No, you're not providing any guidance, you're just copypasting. Guidance requires looking into what the other person needs. You're not doing that, that's the only problem.

@Agent_L - Oh, I'm a very good reader sir. That's pretty much how you learn in life, and you never stop learning. I learn quite a few things about what's going on around here, with players games, what other people are doing, and how their day is going life wise. You can tell an awful lot about a person simply from reading.

I know full well when I post it if they have a signature or not. However, what you aren't quite realizing, is that there are quite a few people who "lurk", and do not actively participate, or there may be some current members that might catch something they missed before. The message is just as much for them, as the person I post them to. If they find something useful, then I've accomplished the goal of the post, which is to welcome people, and give them a foundation to build on. Whichever way they decide to do so.

Appreciate your opinion, but will continue doing so for the new members benefit, and if you choose to read it, and have suggestions, then I'm open to it. Other than that sir, enjoy your day!

@Ten33go - you do a great job, as we agreed last November as a "forum", in welcoming new members to the thread on behalf of us all, and providing each and every new member with a wealth of advice to get them going - as you say there a lot of reminders in there as well for old and new members alike, and some of late have pointed out they have "lurked" for a while before joining. @Agent_L- I respect your views, but I think we need to let this topic lie now, as @Ten33go does a great job, and I for one (any excuse) am raising a glass in tribute.

I am happy for all of you whose planes are being nice, mine on the other hand are very stingy! ugh I have managed to get 1 just 1 collection to get a workshop. I'm feeling the pressure... LOL

Finally they remove the block from my account and today gifts all out and tomorrow i will send the others.

As it happens I had one in my warehouse and decided to use it on this event.
However it is also true that I would be tempted to spend a few greenies to complete a quest !
