My laptop crashed and sent me to level 34 --- Fortunately I had a month old backup and the game was still okay on the servers (because I stopped playing so it wouldn't sync) and Cath took screen shots. GI sent me everything I lost between the backup and the time of the crash - including all the greenies I had purchased during that time.

Glad they restored your greenies! I wonder what that was all about? New bug or glitch in their system?

God only knows, it is not the most stable of games and I said in my mail to them "No I didn't take screen shots before Ii was robbed as I don't have time to screen shot my game on a daily basis just in case the game falls over or I get robbed in my sleep."

This is disappointing. Especially when you read conflicting posts about what the so-called update may include.
Something else us Windows players miss out on til maybe Christmas.

I'm finally back with my Windows game (restore code from GI came through today!).
Been just about 5 months since I last was able to use it. I will be re-developing my gift list from scratch.

With the new computer I have added a couple support accounts that I am developing. I'll be looking for neighbors for those accounts soon. I'll try to get them into my signature over the next day or so.

They wanted me to take screen shots of what was missing (two weeks after my game crashed and I had already sent them screen shots Cath took two weeks previously) - after the game had synced and there was no way to get the screen shots. SMH --- They DID fully return what I had lost and no arguement about any of the items - and for once I believed they did a great job and treated me with respect (unlike the time traveler bug)

I was coming on to post this. Now as you know I don't get on the forums much but one of my neighbours that I visit all the time due to the fact that he has an excessive amount of Planetariums disappeared yesterday, but came back today as level 67 saying New Update.

In my case, I got a BSOD (blue screen of death) on my laptop as soon as I opened the game to check on my planes - Had to reboot and when I re-opened the game, it was at level 34 - fortunately I had made a backup although had not updated it in a month so I lost a LOT but not as much as I could have (I had all of my planetatriums and the two training centers I had at the time in the backup) I now backup at least once a day!

Support account is scrambling to Cape Canaveral for a space suit to join the upcoming low volume launch. Primary is 390k from tower 7.

Even bigger issue now! Overnight my windows 10 installed the major update - now when I try to run the game I get to the white GI splash screen and nothing else happens. Have tried rebooting but still the same. Other apps are all opening ok - has anyone else had problems after updating Windows. I dont know if the game is lost or not because I cannot get into it. I might be forced to restore yesterday's image back up later today. If I am not around or gifting this is why!
