I was going to buy some greenies this week as I am desperate for land and there will be a land sale next week, but with all going on (or rather not going on) I can't bring myself to spend real money on this game! @KenDuckySmith - another oh no moment LOL!

I'm going to take a stab in the dark here. As the code has somewhat changed its format, the numbers 404 instead of 228, and works for the platforms with the "big" update, ios and android. I will venture that according to GI the code is dependent on the update now. Though in my opinion there is no correlation between the code and the update much like the lack of events. I mentioned this in the thread about the PC players complaining about the lack of events. I was answered that there was a correlation between events and an update. That was arguing semantics in my opinion, as yes an update of sorts has to be implemented to get an event to work as new locations to fly to and entities around our cities won't show up without some code to trigger the event. My point was the BIG update had no correlation not that no update was necessary. When I here the halloween event was just a rehash of the same event from last year for those that actually got it. It becomes clear that the BIG update was and is not necessary for events that worked a year ago. So yeah GI just sticking it to the PC players again it seems to me.

Well, Lets see the new upgrade from the first version of Windows 10, to the newer and improved, (that's a freakin joke) version of Windows 10 stopped me from playing AC. So I went to my devices website hoping to find recent driver updates. No deal. Yet oddly only AC would not work correctly. I'd land a few planes, send a few gifts and suddenly the Intel HD graphics would stop working and reset, freezing the game.
But yet I could stream video, play games that contain way more graphics and action and no problems. Even Asphalt 8 worked good.
So I go to chat on phone with tech support from Microsoft and lol all the guy did was go to Toshiba like I did. So now I'm rolled back to Windows 8.1. Funny how the OLD version of Windows 10, after it too had issues, worked just fine.
So much for the boneheads from Microsoft listening as well as the boneheads from GI!!!
Uh didn't Microsoft get a new CEO with a name similar to our lovely tech support staff at GI.
Must be related.
Anyhow I tried to do my best to get things up and running although now with 8.1 I got to wait for like 465+- updates to install.
So gifting was done to the best of my abilities.
