He's actually pretty harmless. Unless of course him and @ItsRalphy went on a pub crawl. Then. Who knows? But definitely not pulse laser pistol worthy.

Greets friend from USA, woke up early, having gone to bed early, it's almost 5pm here. What is the situation with the servers (new word required to describe that thing that does not always serve us all).

@Captain WH Rollins - Morning. It's 9 pm here. The striking servers are apparently why we can only visit few of our many neighbors. Hopefully being worked on, but at least it's not just us. I saw Android was having the same problem.

@rocky - Just filling in the real Event Coordinator!

Android problems? That's comforting!!! As for the servers, of course, its not us. It's not receiving any word from those who control the servers that I find a problem, far too quiet in this respect. There needs to be far better communication from them. Without all of us there would be no game.

You're relatively new at this aren't ya? LOL. They get around to telling us things when they're darned good and ready, and not a moment sooner. :p

Banter aside for a moment. In my book it shows a lack of respect and consideration for us the players, which I don't care for. Not too difficult to let people know there is a problem with the servers and they are on the case, silence is not the answer.........banter on again....it's time for some breakfast me thinks.

I agree. But then again, in my humble opinion, that pretty much goes for almost everything nowadays. From fast food restaurants, grocery stores, retail stores, banks, etc. It's a disappointing trend that has been occurring for a least a decade or more. Even people's driving habits, courtesy, manners, civility, etc. have followed the same course. Some of it you can manage to ignore, others you obviously can't. And sometimes, when you call them out on it, you get what you want, and possibly a little more. Depends on the situation, and your presentation of the problems, and other relevant information relayed in an intelligent manner.

As for this game, it is what you make of it. Yes, it can be frustrating. Starting without this forum is a challenge in itself. With the forum, it makes things much easier, plus you get to meet some great people and try and lighten everyone's mood a bit. That's why @rocky started the daily event. He went with it and thought outside the box. All you can do is enjoy it as much as you can, enjoy the people that come here, the conversation, sharing of experiences and their stories. In other words, don't worry... Be Happy....:p

Dear Flyers

I've just finished sending out my 20 gift items for today, to my neighbours, this did not take place yesterday due to demands of the day. Still unable to visit most of my neighbours for resource re-allocation. I have today started the upgrading process for my Control Tower Level 6 (1 day 21 hours remaining). I've also updated my signature.

Thanks for all the gifts received.

Regards

@Ten33go and all others.
Well here is my opinion as it reflects upon me.
I honestly have to say that here, in my Diabetic support group, and even going back 8 or 9 years when I belonged to a group called Kitchen Chat, when a certain company ran chat rooms.
I cannot fathom how every day reality can be that much different, there can be so much hatred, ignorance, etc., around the world.
Yet here, the support group, the chat room, people we've never even met in real life, can have so much respect for each other. Not mentioning names as some conversations are to remain private, but even then you can tell just how caring and supportive all you people really are. And not being funny at all; that's what i love about you as a whole and as individuals.
Some one has an "OH MY!" day, @ItsRalphy , (joking Ralphy), but a problem with the game crashing, and someone is there to give advice.
Someone has technical difficulties with GI or their IP company, we all understand.
Mistakes in gifting, hey it happens. My tablet is good for that one.
But I've noticed, when someone gets stuck in a launch, there are quite a few that jump in and help out.
Anyhow that's my opinion and I'm sticking to it.

I agree, but I think there is a cultural difference going on. The game is Russian. As American, we are used to, and expect good customer service, but that it is not as important there. I have a Russian friend who explained it this way. In US workers say "Customers are always right", In Russia, workers say "Its not my problem".

Its just a different business model I guess.
