I've been very lucky to have been able to travel to some beautiful places, and Namibia ranks right up with the best. I spent part of my honeymoon travelling there through Etosha (so much better than Kruger!), along the Skeleton Coast and a few days in Swakopmund. That was over 20 years ago and we still have a photo of us walking up the huge red dunes on the wall of our lounge room.

Amazing! @Bob69bob ... I haven't been to Kruger but I definitely prefer home and yes the coast is sublime. It was well worth it!

I hail from Ashland, Oregon. Unfortunately now I live in Portland. Luckily not near where the protests/riots are happening. I had no idea how bad things were until a good friend of mine texted me one day asking if I was okay. She lives in Italy and has heard about it on the news.
