I hail from Ashland, Oregon. Unfortunately now I live in Portland. Luckily not near where the protests/riots are happening. I had no idea how bad things were until a good friend of mine texted me one day asking if I was okay. She lives in Italy and has heard about it on the news.

Thanks @Tito! I can’t imagine being a police officer right now. I have yet to run into one here that I’m not thankful for. I’m a native Oregonian but lived for a few years in CA. Mostly Sacramento but the first 2 years in LA. Was glad to get back home.
