v8.0 is out - discussion

So lets say we want to keep the customization in the hangar and the in-flight aspect of the new update (let's be honest, seeing the jets mid flight is awesome!). We didn't need to create this huge hangar to do that. We could simply click on our radar, click on an ongoing flight, and the animation could pop up there and then. If we wanted to customize a plane, we can put it in our reserve hangar, click on it, and voila...fancy view of the aircraft in the hangar, ready for customization.
Bottom line: All the hoopla wasn't really necessary; this shouldve just been v7.26. When they address all the other things and bring about something new, we will call that 8.0. Until then, this is 7.26 with a wrong version number 🤷🏿‍♂️😅

Don't know if it was said yet but with that whole vast area of concrete they couldn't fit the helicopter repair building as well? Plus a dedicated area for heli pads and terminal like the planes. Guess that will come in version 9.0 lol

Does those business center actually yields anything? Does the drop rate is reasonable?

You get items for collection that gives Mystery Bonus reward for completion at rate of "very seldom" about the same rate of collectible drops as Planetarium and Training Centres - so 6 buildings is best for productivity.

That is a feature that we should be getting; the ability to change the color scheme of our aircraft in the fleet. I don't know when it's coming though

I would like to see all those stands in front of the hangars occupied. For example, with the reserve planes. It just looks empty like an abandoned airport

Suppose GI just launch V.8 to prepare for new features. The new area could receive special hangars for events like we had in the past, a new hangar to put planes wich you not want in alliance tasks, a new building to customize airplanes or something else.

I am just using chopper flights to make money. I am constantly producing items and it takes a hughe amount of time to get it all to 100. It drives me nuts not to see the number of items I have in warehouse. Lots of time used for checking and producing only to the 100 item limit to not lose production capacity.
I like the new feature which displays repair items left in stock, too. That really is a progress and should be realised also for chopper items. Should be an easy task to do...

Not really. Everything is presented in a mist. I understand that employees of GI cannot talk out loud, but this was said.

Well I at least hope that the new levels and destinations isnt something like a "1000 pax plane that burns 70 fuel and flies for 14 hours"...in other words, its just a bigger condor. The new levels should have a twist somehow...else all of us at lv 80 will be at the same point in a matter of months. That is some promising news though; thanks for sharing.

Yeah I know the contest has something to do with a new plane. However, they seem more interested in what the aesthetics of the plane looks like more than its specifications. If I was a good artist, I would enter and throw in my own specifications.
Hmm...actually...you just gave me an idea, but I realize that the competition ends tomorrow. If anyone has facebook access, can sketch quickly, and wants specifications, I would gladly contribute
