Pub lunch for today - toasted salt beef brisket sandwich with a pickle vegetable salad and a pot of English tea.

You can't beat proper bubble and squeak - but ideally woth a cooked breakfast! - its a boxing day tradition in our house, and also any other special "day after"!Pub lunch for today - bubble and squeak, pickled radish and cucumber salad with a toasted sesame oil dressing, and chilled white wine.

Very nice - we are going for a lovely rumo steak with a glorious peppercorn sauce, chunky chips, mushrooms and a pint of Boddingtons - oh my!Late Sunday lunch for today - slow cooked rack of lamb with rosemary and garlic, crispy roast potato's, steamed carrots, fresh baked bread, homemade onion gravy and something suitable to drink with the lunch time meal.

It was, and followed by a home made plum crumble and custard with freshly picked plums.Capital B for Boddingtons, good neighbour. Lunch sounds just great.

Had that on Saturday - and glad you have mushy's, - got to!Pub lunch for today - fish and chips with mushy peas and deep fried chunky chips - could not resist.
