Solid Fuel burn launches

Just wondered whether anyone had ever thought of doing a launch purely for a Solid Fuel burn?

Rules:
1) Only allowed to use Solid Fuel (to reduce stocks until GI do something sensible about it) except for the launcher, who also puts in a Liquid Fuel to take captain.
2) All are welcome - perhaps 50/60 people
3) Speed isn't of the essence - would rather take 23hrs 59 and use up stocks rather than be speedy?

I'm sure somebody can tell me why it's not a good idea?

Was thinking the same thing last week.
But when i uses a ql. I burned almost everything.

Why not just quietly join a QL party that already has 5/6 members, and sit at the back with your Solid Fuel burnt and then do it all again every few minutes?

I can't see that it does anyone any harm, especially if the number of members is already relatively high.

I am kind of surprised no one mentioned the old weekly friday small
resource launches. I forget who the original idea came from but the
wonderful @Captain WH Rollins got it organized and ran it for quite some
time. Myself and @Harcourt alternated starting the launches.
