iPadOS Random Ads

Is anyone else getting random ads since the update? I am on iOS and quite frequently, when returning the the main screen from visiting neighbours or loooking at flights etc., I get a a full screen ad come up. Very annoying and I hope not the start of a trend.

Yeps, same thing here! They start for no reason at all and linked to nothing (with this I mean rewards, items, bonuses, ...)

I complained this to Gi support, and received an answer today saying it's correct behavior. So, they added this ad on purpose But he didn't give me answer for the music getting turned on after the random ad. He said I need to prove it. I recorded it and sent, and they said they are not allowed to download big file

Really? That's what they said last time too, but they corrected it. If it's really their intention, I'm really gonna be done with this game.

I too face this problem some times..
Mostly at first, when I start the game...
I don't think it would be a permanent problem...
It might be a temporary bug or something...

This hacks me off. There have been so many issues with ads, but now we are forced to watch them?
More to the point, they keep crashing several of my games!

Same here. I would give them 2 updates to fix this issue. If they don't, then I would say byebye. Forced ads is a game killer for paid customers. I understand they are greedy but this is crossing the line. Nobody pays money to watch ads.

These random Ads are mighty irritating. I happened to be playing on my phone in the crowded elevator this morning, imagine my horror when an ad starts playing which was for a "dating" a.k.a sexting app which in the very first 2 seconds showed a woman suggestively lying on a bed squeezing her assets and moaning...! There is a time and place for everything, this was not it! Not cool....so not cool.

And if, as Valery Kolesova mentioned - these ads are working correctly - then that's such a shame and poor business decision. Or maybe not, perhaps the ad revenues are better than paying customers....time shall tell but I won't stick around much longer either if this continues.

I do not have such ads at the moment.
I had them, when this issue was first noticed (some upgrades ago), but not anymore.
is it possible that those are country/region dependent?

My issue is the ads having “v” like symbol in the left corner of your screen, right side of the v is a solid line with the left side having two bubbles with + sign at the top. These particular ads do not give the rewards or you get the black screen of death. It is frustrating and you cannot play the game as it should be. GI does make sure the ads are compatible and game friendly. Has anyone else have similar issues like this? Enjoy the game fellow pilots if you can...
