"We've checked all of your weekly flight tasks, the placement in Top100 ratings and the passenger traffic in your alliance, and there's no mismatch in the numbers. Flight counters perform perfectly fine"

This is despite providing a screenshot showing 78 flights complete, when the final total for the week said 77. It was actually 82. What more proof can you give?

When are GI going to accept that there is a problem with counting flights, let alone fix it!!!!

@Aviatrix we were just discussing this. Hopefully Ivan will chime in. Would like to know if there is a mechanism in place to count alliance/ratings flights without an internet connection. If there isn't, adding an offline counter may make the game more robust against loss of internet connections (playing while in airplane mode for example)

I can't figure it out. Yesterday, alliance flights from all 3 games weren't working, then last night a few counted. This morning, 1 game ok, 1 game not counting. Haven't checked the 3rd yet.

I get the same response when I submit a ticket, so I've given up on that. I'll work on flights/stars and apologize to my alliance for not contributing to alliance reputation.

Sorry, folks, there'll be no offline counters, as that's number one thing that cheating players exploit.

If you have a stable Internet connection, all your flights should be counted fine (you'll need the latest released version to participate) although it might take a few moments to record with our servers. It was painful and took us several attempts to do properly as you all noticed when there were multiple threads about alliance missions not working.

There's a lag between you finishing up a flight and the counter being updated with new data, and it is certainly a nuisance, but it's a lot better than all ratings being dominated by cheaters — I'm sure you'll agree with that.

Sorry Ivan, but that is NOT happening. So many times, I'll land an alliance flight, watch the count go up, and then watch it go back down. I have a very stable 60 mb internet connection, so that's not the problem. I may land 6 planes, 4 will count, 2 will not. No rhyme nor reason. I've given up on submitting tickets, as I am always told flights are counting, but when I see the count go up and then right back down, it's obvious they are not.

Thanks Ivan. My friend code is 0 4 j g l t b o. (5th digit is L) I didn't submit a ticket, as when I have done so in the past, I always get the same response as noted above.

Yesterday, all 3 of my games were not counting alliance flights, then they started counting again last night. Now this morning, the one mentioned above is the one not working again. I'm sure by tonite it will probably start counting properly again.

Also, there's a known bug with long tapping a flight radar to complete several flights: the counter will not be updated until you completely relaunch a game, although all flights are recorded correctly on the server. That should be fixed with 6.10 update.

Me too. I lost 2 alliance flights 5 minutes ago. This week, i've lost around 25 flights from various destinations.

Thanks. I'll keep an eye on it. Even if it's not always working properly, it's still a GREAT game. I think you guys should be arrested for causing this addiction!!!

There is a problem with counting flights. ALWAYS!! And its all because our internet connection.

So, we can provide screenshot evidence, but that's still not proof? How is that fair?

@Southoftheborder provided proof we completed the task, you've come up with no counter-evidence to refute that. Our alliance members know they did enough to complete, so if something has gone wrong I would appreciate some back up to find out what went wrong.

Well, let me attach two pairs of pictures here - from the weekly top100 ranking and from my alliance task status.
Fist pair of screenshots was taken yesterday:

As you can see, there is a difference between the number of flights in both different screens. Unfortunately I can't say is any of both numbers correct as I didn't write down the offline counter (# flights as I still have less than 3 stars on this destination).
I would say this is a proof that the counters don't count correctly. Ivan? (my friend code is same as my forum name)

...But again, methinks we fly too fast for the G! servers and most of the time they get confused, but it could be our internet connection that's not reliable.
