Free2Play @gtcity I have a windows 10 PC but for the last 3 months or so I have been trying to download this game with no good result, I sent numerous messages via messenger but to this day I see nothing. What should I do?

Yes, 5.8 was the last update for PC version of Windows 8.1, I'm sorry this has to be announced now and not ahead of time. You'll either need to update Windows to version 10 and up, or ask the support team to move your account to one of the other mobile versions such as iOS or Android (but this may take a lot of time).

Thanks for the clarification. Fortunately, I have win 10, but was concerned about the number of players who are still on 8.1. Moving to android might be an affordable way for many to keep playing.

The gifting of straightjackets is glitched indeed (and our QA engineers are deeply sorry they missed this glitch), but since you get them from Burial Vaults that doesn't make it impossible to complete the event. There's plenty of time to complete it for anyone who wants to do that.

If we have no straitjackets and our possessed passenger terminal is full, how do we get more straitjackets? We can't use the vaults. So, we can't collect the Lords of the Nile collection, nor can we collect the Whispers of the Walls collection.

It is impossible to complete the event if it is impossible to collect from Burial Vaults.

Each time you don't get a jacket-drop from your vaults, your terminal gets filled with 19 passengers.
It is impossible to complete the event for those who have max p.passengers in their terminals, because their ONLY source for jackets is closed due to this bug.

For those who still have storage. Yes, it is not impossible to complete this event, but then you have to be very lucky getting jackets from vaults. Impossible? No, not at all. Lucky? Yes, considering you have to get lots of jackets with droprate of "often".
I would bet that the probability is extremely low.

Even with "very often" droprate from vaults, it's still difficult, considering the amount of flights needed.

If we have no straitjackets and our possessed passenger terminal is full, how do we get more straitjackets? We can't use the vaults. So, we can't collect the Lords of the Nile collection, nor can we collect the Whispers of the Walls collection.

It was already commented here - as the drop rate of Straitjackets is "often" but always 19 possessed passengers drop from Burial Vault, you have less Straitjackets than multiple of 19 pax, i.e. you can use just partially the number of possessed passengers.
So you get stuck once Size-of-your-terminal < Number-of-taps-with-no-Straitjacket-drop * 19

I’ll say thanks. This event is already challenging enough given the low rate of drops from the vaults that I think you need those extra flights to free up more room to try and get those Whisper collection drops.

I like the fact it’s challenging in that regard but I know I’ll personally soon be at a point where I can’t fly as much as I think I’ll need to in order to finish.

The more vaults you have, the more you need to fly. Multiply each of your vaults by 2 to get the amount of turboprops you need to prevent your possessed terminal from filling. If you have 6, then you need 12 planes continuously flying as you collect. Any less, and the terminal slowly fills.

No they definitely wont do that. Two reasons why this probably wouldnt work:
1) As you accumulate jackets and flying, you would be accumulating even more possessed passengers, putting you in a deeper hole.
2) With no limits, you can complete the 2nd collection without working on the 3rd, which is what they're trying to prevent.

What I would suggest is just fixing the gifting issue, giving us a 10 or 20 pack of jackets to give us a jumpstart, and extra time depending on how long it takes to fix the issue. They became more aware of it yesterday I believe, so for every day it goes unresolved, that's an extra day to extend the event.

Yes it would work, but what I'm saying is that they want it to be tricky compared to other events. With what you suggest, it would be a whole lot easier to complete the event (besides the bad drop rates of course), but GI wants to keep the two collections dependent on each other. With your suggestion, you can just hoard up your jackets and just do all the flights at one time (maybe with a bonus...that was my plan anyway). However, with the way it's currently set up, you can't do that. You have to keep flying so that your possessed terminal stays open, which allows for you to do the 2nd collection. To keep up with the output, you may even need to burn some reserve fuel in the process (unless you have enough turboprops to match your vaults' output over a 2 hour period). Notice that everyone is asking for jackets and f20? Thats why. Makes the event more challenging and puts more players on a level playing field.

if you have a few strait jackets left, remove the roads from all but 2 of the vaults, that keeps the number of passengers low. I get about 50% drop of jackets so 2 vaults keeps 3 T/ps running.

Genius! I will need to implement this once the error is fixed. My pickup rate will be lower, but it will do until I have a high enough inflow of jackets.
