I was making conversation about the fact that I was having difficulty getting initial drops from this quest.

Is this board generally this hostile?!?

I've read every page of this thread, and I haven't seen anyone be nasty until I posted.

I'm just trying to "break the ice". I'm doing fine with the game. Geez.

Hey not being hostile but I activate some bonuses and finish most quests in hours. Others debate this that and the other on here. Now as a new player you won't have the stash of bonuses I have but people who do listen. If you got Spyglass, dice, golden dice, sky captain and whatever speed things up, try it. Usually works for me. No offence

I'm using the spyglass and dice as we speak. I am level 60 and have been playing this game for over 2 years. I've completed plenty of quests.

I was trying to make friends, new neighbors, and conversation. You implied that I was stupid.

How do I not take offense?

Hello Everyone!

I just "re-found" this site! I joined almost 2 years ago at level 20 with 25 stars or something like that. I've been churning out playing almost every day since then, and am now level 60 with 175 stars. It's hard to find neighbors who still play the game. I met Tecmage and Shinobi on here when I first signed up, and they're still my neighbors today (thanks guys!)! I am currently working on the Wonderland event, and can gift Three of Hearts, and Magic Mirror.

Please add me and let me know your in game username so that I can trim down the list of neighbors that I have that don't appear to be actively playing anymore. I promise to stick around for a while!

Also, is anyone else having no luck with egg drops? I've had 4 Russian Eggs for 2 days now, and don't have a single drop to show for them. Fortunately, I'm one drop away from getting a card plane, so I hope that I can start getting the other collections soon. I know it's still early in the quest, but I already feel like I'm running out of time!

Android & iOS can be neighbours and gift to each other, a lot has changed in your 2 year absence ;-) Opens up a whole new neighbourhood, even Windows (Phone I think, might be OS though, someone will correct me) can be friends with Android & iOS

In many quests, the chance of a drop goes from "very seldom" to "seldom" as the plane gets bigger. In other words, while a Turboprop may give you a "very seldom" chance of a drop, a Jumbo and up may give you a "seldom" chance of a drop. This quest, however, has "very seldom" for all planes.

Tom, a quick sidenote here. There're really no exceptions to the rule of "bigger planes = bigger rewards" including higher chances of getting something. This is true for this quest as well, as we try to ensure on each level whether you've just started or being on level 60 you're convenient with completing quest with your current set of planes and fuel reserves. All text descriptions are within certain range, that's why "very seldom" on small plane is not equal to "very seldom" chance of getting something from, say, Jumbo.

I must state that so far I am heavily disappointed by the drop rate of this quest. With Spy Glass, Golden Dice and Sky Captain all activated, I three-starred Chatterham, and have received TWO cards...
I set a timer for half-hour and clicked every half hour for 6 hours on four Russian eggs - TWO doors. Sure, the Knives dropped very well in neighbors, and the mushrooms also dropped very well, but in more than 24 hours, with all these bonuses active, I didn't get much...

I know that the wording suggests that egg buildings drop items only in your own city and not neighbors'. Did anyone out there get any drops during neighbor visits. A couple of times in the past wording was not that accurate and we were surprised to get drops from neighbor visits. I could try myself but it took me literally 3 hours to successfully visit 2 neighbors. If someone can confirm with a little side experiment @greensmith ?

Are you saying that a Jumbo (with a very seldom chance of a drop) is more likely to give you a drop than a Turboprop (with a very seldom chance of a drop)?

Yes. It requires more passengers and fuel, so it's fair it has better chances.

I'd be remiss if I didn't say that this quest is one of the most imaginative GI/404 has ever come up with. And the egg buildings are absolutely beautiful. Kudos to all!

It's enough to read the ingame description to learn that neighbor eggs don't drop.
I am amazed why people keep insisting that eggs drop?! I was never said they do, and it was only said they don't.
