Windows ItsRalphy broken but able to play thanks to backup!

Hi gang - I have a real problem. My laptop is not working. I can play for so long, but then i get a dreaded bluescreen "Stopcode Memory Management" and it restarts. When it is restarting it doesn't remember anything I did whilst playing (same with all apps) and can't even remember if it was trying to uninstall or repair something. I will need to get it repaired, I think, but in the meantime I think I have managed to get my gifts out between restarts. Not sure if I am receiving gifts though, but hopefully even though I can't play, I seem to be able to send!

However, I suspect my flights aren't counting or anything like that. Will keep you informed folks!

UPDATE - I am receiving gifts I think as teh count has gone up, so at least I can keep up with those!

Don't forget to backup your game and anything else you can't do without, preferably to an external or portable drive. Your hard drive may be on it's way out

Sorry to hear that but i think your HD almost dead and if you fix it the same code will appear better to replace with new HD and dont forget to take everything from the old HD specially your game backup.

BUT today I got Mrs Ralphy's laptop out of the cupboard, dusted it off, booted it up, waited for 2 years of updates to catch up and then loaded airport city. Played to level 3, then closed the game, followed the instructions on back up restore from my last back up, and my game is fully up and running. SO it still works! Phew.
