I play occasionally on my iPhone Ndh4 but not that serious, seeing that we can see proper names now I am going to add 20 neighbours that I will daily gift items to, no need to return gifts to Ndh4.
Please add Ndh4 to receive gifts only. First 20 only.
I can see you today, although I don't know how long that will last.
Hope fully for a long long time, I was lucky before if I had one visit a day to my airport, with proper names back I've had some many visits its great thanks everybody!!I can see you today, although I don't know how long that will last.
Thanks Ndh2!!!! As of now I can see who most of my neighbors actually are - this will make gifting MUCH easier. I just hope it lasts.Try closing all tabs, then turn ipad off then on again and re open game. You also now show in my neighbour list
We are all hoping it will last, not that knowledgeable about avatars sorryThanks Ndh2!!!! As of now I can see who most of my neighbors actually are - this will make gifting MUCH easier. I just hope it lasts.
Next up, I have unsuccessfully tried to add an avatar, but it is has not worked. I followed the guide on this site to no avail. Does anyone have any suggestions???
Well I kept the names long enough to see and gift you and a lot of others here that I haven't "seen" in a while.Hope fully for a long long time, I was lucky before if I had one visit a day to my airport, with proper names back I've had some many visits its great thanks everybody!!
I don't know anything about programming, but I would bet that when you click on butterflies and then click on the "use a butterfly net" icon, a random number generator in the Airport City programming code turns on and spits out a number. Perhaps it's like a wheel of fortune with 100 possible results. If the random number generator stops at any number between one and 80, you get nothing. If it stops at 81 you get a Brimstone. If it stops at 82 you get an Old World Swallowtail. If it stops at 83 you get a Red Admiral. If it stops at 84 you get a Cypris Morpho. If it stops at 85 you get a Peacock. If it stops at 86 you get a Brimstone and an Old World Swallowtail. And so on.Neighbors,
I am in the same boat as many of you who are struggling with the butterfly collection. As i was going through some threads, what seems to me as the conventional wisdom was to wait for an hour or so between trying. Repetitive clicking will not get you anywhere and will waste your nets. I have been trying this strategy for a few days and nothing is dropping. It has been working with flower drops. Those darn critters are driving me crazy!!! Any other strategies that worked for some? I don't mind trying anything at this point. Please spare me of the pain!
Hey... That makes a lot of sense though. I am a numbers person myself so i understand where you're coming from. I appreciate the clarification TomI don't know anything about programming, but I would bet that when you click on butterflies and then click on the "use a butterfly net" icon, that a random number generator in the Airport City programming code turns on and spits out a number. And so on.
If this is the case, there's no strategy that will work. Random is random. Your chance of getting nothing or a butterfly -- or two or three butterflied as have been reported -- are exactly the same each time you click. Some of our forum neighbors seem to be very knowledgeable about programming. Perhaps they can explain better than my educated guess.
Cheers,
Tom
I too have all names back on my ipad (Ianda11 (it's a capital i not a lower case l at the start of my name)) but no avatars. So I thought I'd do some neighbour housekeeping. I've sent requests to Beckyp and Ndh2. I also sent requests to the following players but don't think they were successful, so please add me if you can :-
Dee140157 for Ducks1
Uncle Mans for Uncle Mans Phone
greensmith for Waverlyhuff2
Pakman for Pakman2
Scoob1964 for Sankukia (I thought we were neighbours already?)
billsnj for Erb22 (I know we were neighbours before but I thought I'd try again!!)
I'm also struggling with the butterflies. I've got 7 so far but no Red Admirals or Peacocks.
Pakman have clicked on a couple of conservatory's without any thing dropping.
Uncle Mans I am not in need of pruning shears thanks, will will return those gifted to me to help out those that do.
