Individual weekly task rating?

Each Sunday I get a message saying that I have placed ### in an alliance task for the week. Does this individual ranking in a task mean anything other than a pat on the back?

If you rank high enough, you'll get a few coins, and I think #1 gets a few silver tokens.

First three places are awarded with chests. They contain golden tokens (3, 2, 1 - a cording to place). First 100 finishes are awarded with standart coins.

Thanks for the info. I am assuming that 1st goes to the individual that gets the task done first.

No. The one who flies the most. Look at the world map for where you are flying to, you’ll see the ranking. You can also check lasts weeks numbers.

Building on what has been said, if you click the little podium at the bottom of the screen, this will give you some options.
Within there, there is a globe - if you click this you'll get an AC world map, with all the destinations on it.
Click a destination that you have been flying to, to see how many flights you have completed during a week (or the previous week), and how many flights others have completed. This is pretty much the closest you get to any in game statistics.... so being a number lover I spend a lot of time looking at these screens...

The best way to get a top position in weekly rankings is to be tactical about it, rather than just hitting with 'brute force'.

Ah, I see. Ding, Ding Ding. I did not realize that the map was interactive. For some reason I never noticed the search option at the top. I now see all the answers to my questions.
