Stupid question. But how does knowing it’s a random 1/7 chance help? You have to keep items at max.

But you don’t know. It changes every flight.

But when you have done a certain amount of flights for every destinstion the avg. costs per flight basicly stay the same, regardless of the combination of the items for the specific destination I figured out in my study.

It changes to one of 7 patterns of items.

This is clearly something people want to know since @Marve has done this and @Jimbo is undertaking this and so was I. And @TimP has studied this as well. Some people just want to know this kind of thing - maybe to come up with a better strategy for managing/manufacturing items.
