GREEN LAUNCH QUERY

Good day all
I have:
MCC L1
Green pad
All related items except for chocolate
Cosmic fuel station (currently offline)

What I want to know is where to from here? Can I launch once I got the elusive chocolate?
The points that I keep seeing on this forum what are they?
Where can I get those points?

2. Visit those neighbors and click on their planetariums and also Training Centers. This will help you get items you need to add points to launches. Cosmic Fuel Station can also be helpful to click on.
3. Look in the launch threads for more experienced players starting green launches. Ask those people to add you as a neighbor.
4. When your neighbors say in forum that they are starting a green launch, join their launch instead of making your own.
5. To start with only add a small number of points to a launch, since you don't have many points to contribute. People here do not mind if you only add a little bit to their launch.
6. Later when you are able to put more points in: if someone has put in 576 points or more on a launch, do not pass them. When someone puts in 576 points they are saying that they want first place for that launch. People will get angry if you ignore this custom. They might even kick you off of the launch and delete you as a neighbor.
7. When someone says in a launch thread here "All seats are open" that means you are welcome to put in 576 points to claim the first place. Sometimes the first place is also called "captain" so they might say "Captain is open" or "Captain is up for grabs".
   
8. If you can join a QL (Quantum Leap) launch it is even better! Look for "QL" in the thread. Launches with 2 or more QLs are the best. Those are especially common on the weekends. They are often called "QL party"."

Apogee Mission Launch requires 1600 points. You have 24 hours to accumulate these points. If you do not get the 1600 points, the launch fails! You may obtain points from the following items:

All items (except Liquid Fuel) may be obtained by using the Launch Ready item set. Solid Fuel may also be obtained from the Cosmic Fuel Station.

Invite other friends to join your launch or join someone else's launch and contribute points to achieve the target faster.

After a successful launch, you have to wait 24 hours to receive the rewards. A small icon will appear somewhere near the city when you can collect.

Launch Ready set you will receive as reward when you complete collections:

Distant Prospects
Experiments in Space
Zero Gravity Lunch
Dark Side of the Moon

Another question: is there a preset number of each item needed or is it a matter of as long as you have accumulated the needed points then you can launch?

it is better to join in someone launch first...for you to launch it is better to have the 1600 points...if you don't succeed to add with your neighbors 1600 points in 24h the launch will fail, and you will lose all items that you used. i also have a few points and i wait that some neighbor to launch and i will help with my few points.. search always green launch thread on forum...

The reuse time he is referring to is how long you must wait before adding another of that item to the
points total. So if you start a launch and then add a liquid fuel for 2 points you must then wait 10 minutes
before adding another liquid fuel. All items that can be added are the same just have different times for reuse.
As stated it is always a wise idea to line up a neighbor or two from this forum to do your first launch.
You will see how it works without the risk of having a failed launch which makes you lose any items used
to start the launch as well as items put in as points toward the launch. Also the idea of waiting 24 hours to accumulate the items
needed to get the needed points is a bit misleading. You have 24 hours to ADD the items to get the
points needed. You can and should accumulate enough points BEFORE starting a launch.

Another question, when you launch do you then add the items throughout the 24 hours or you add them at the beginning (as per instructions)?

How many of each item is needed per launch to accumulate the required points?

Once you start the launch you then start adding the items for the points required. You start adding the
points as soon as you start the launch then have up to 24 hours to accumulate the 1600 points by adding
items. There is no specific amount of items needed to get to 1600 points any combination of items will work.
As an example the highest point item is the powerful explosive bolt (which are harder to come by) worth 360 points.
you can add another of those every 30 seconds. So if you put 4 of those in you would be at 1440 points. You could also
add 1 main stabilizer for 120 points and 1 large fuel tank for 40 points. All added together this equals 1600 points.
You do not have to hit 1600 exactly you can go over. Using those items your launch could be launched
2 minutes after you started it. As I said this is only one way you could get 1600 there is no correct number of items
as long as you hit 1600 using the items listed above by zica your good to go.

if you would like help with the launch. I have plenty of launch items and we can get it
launched rather quickly. If you want to ensure a 1st place which gives a better reward just
make sure you have a bit over 800 points and I could add the rest. Once you do 1 launch
the process will become clear.

Forum Members who are your neighbours will be able to see your green launch, if they are looking to join a green launch. You can of course remove hi-jackers from your launch (and from your neighbours list - non forum members are not worth holding onto). Plus, anyone can read through your launch thread, once you have created it.
