Building collections change

I hear on the grapevine that this offer is going to be discontinued. Has anyone else heard this news, as you see in the screen shot this collection is offered at the bank also, now this can be collected from the courthouse Free2Play

I can't comment on future special offers. Sales of any kind are available when they are available.
And it doesn't seem to be an issue worth tagging me like a serious whole-game-crashing bug, too.

Well...guess expansion is going to be quite a bit more difficult now. This will definitely make people think twice about how they use their land expansion, because those plots of land become pretty pricy even on expansion sales.

Nah I don't think there was any ill will behind it. His mint/casino just happened to be in the screenshot he took. Either way, it's still valuable info, because it may indicate that indeed there will no longer be a sale. The frequency also makes the collection a lot harder to obtain now, as the courthouse allows collection only every 48 hours.

On a serious note, is there any point storing/saving gold tokens or worth blowing them on planes instead?

If indeed it is true that CMB will no longer be offered then some of us will never get the opportunity to upgrade the powerful refinery any further than level 2 because as I see it not in a million years will I buy greenies just to upgrade the refinery. This also means that I have to start now to make do with whatever land I have because in a not so distant future it will cost me 30 greenies on sale. this also means that I might as well start now to pull back from the game because my (and other players') prospects of expanding and growing our game has been choked - indeed this would be a very sobering thought after the investments we have made.

@Aardvark saving up those golds would allow you to utilize the mint to get lots of greenies for a certain amount of time, but if the sale really is no more, then all thats left is the planes. The alliance store also has buildings for gold and silver tokens, but besides the grand hotel and reserve hangar 2, those buildings arent worth the cost in their current state in my opinion

same here - if theres not even a Chance of a mint/Casino or something similar - there is no Point n playing it since u never can compete

Only been playing since this game went live about 6 years more , and i do not general brag about anything, the coins i have earn over many years, the greens well thats from alot of flying rockets and planes. But thank you for your comments

Please don't forget to read the response from Gi to this. Basically don't speculate. Wait and seen, who knows what will happen!! If it comes it comes, if it doesn't it doesn't but something else will have to come instead.

It is a bit of a damper....if the sale really isnt happening. However, I think that you can still make due to an extent, but you basically have to be way more efficient with the purchased space than if you got a CBM. I'm still optimistic there is a sale though, but will build my city with the expectation that last year was indeed the last sale

If the buildings really arent for sale anymore, the biggest impact is that all those players who had planned to fill their city with adventure buildings will think twice before doing so. Adventure buildings are a great help, but with land prices being so expensive as you expand, you have to be smart.

My sentiments exactly, if indeed they are no longer there for the offering then it is G!'s prerogative to present an alternative building(s) to compensate for the vacuum.

And if indeed it true that CMB will not be sold then we will keep recycling the buildings we have to the warehouse, but I fear this will be taken away as well...

No they wont take that away I dont think. It's a core part of the game....CBM isn't. It will be a gamechanger for us who missed the sale last year though....if its no longer offered

Right now I've been doing things to get gold coins just to get the Casino and mint. If there is no longer a sale for them, then why bother coin collecting? I will get to a certain point in the game then it is just going to the same places and not being able to get certain upgrades simply because the price point is just too high.
Still love the game though.

My alliance support game finally has enough gold and silver tokens to buy 1 casino, and is in serious need of greens for expansion. I won't spend any $$ on the game (spent more than my fair share on my other 2 games), so just waiting anxiously, hoping they will be offered again this year.
