I agree. When I first started here the events were way too difficult. First 3 at least I didn't finish and was miles away. A difficult one occasionally is good, but it must have a god prize at the end.
Couldnt have said it better myself. The QL party event was a difficult one....nearly impossible for some, however the reward was excellent. If they keep this up, I'll be happy.

This event is easy but still difficult to complete 3 stars because you have to stop sending planes to other destinations just only event destinations and passengers is hard to get to completed maybe i need 4 years or more  13 days not enough.
....if your goal is to 3 star all destinations, then yes the event becomes a lot more difficult. For me, I couldn't care less. So long as everything is unlocked in regards to stars, then I'm happy with any number of stars I get

Both agree and disagree :)

The Christmas one was hard, but fun, the rock festival impossible, but this one easy!

Finished walk in the clouds with 9 days to spare - and I only build one of each building :)
Well the difficulty will vary, but there have been events in the past that you give it your all and still end up short. I went through that last year, and it really bummed me out (Curse of the Valley of the King was a dismal failure). I'm not one to take years to do an event. If there is an event, and I want the reward, I'm not going after the reward so that I can add it to my city next year. Nowadays, however, if you give it your all, you should be able to complete the event. There are always exceptions to the rule though

The problem last year for me, there were 2 or 3 events which followed each other that were impossible to finish.. Can't remember the order but Curse of the valley of kings, the great game, it came from outer space and the rock festival. Got loads of bits if they ever get repeated but couldn't finish them.

Yes CBM is a gamechanger. Unfortunately, my game hasnt changed just yet, and may not change according to some rumours, so I have to make good use of the space. There are other pax buildings that I plan on using, so have to save space for it
Your space will grow. Even if you won't get CBM, there is still 3 greens per week so faster or slower but your space will only grow. The event may or may not be reused next year, so the chance to get those buildings may not materialize again.

The QL party event was a difficult one....
It was the easiest event ever. Just join multi-QL launches, like everyday. In fact, the event only made launching so much easier, because there were so many launch parties to chose from.

Even if an event is recycled next year, the reward is different. So you want to do the same event every year.

Btw, don't focus on 1x1 buildings too much. All buildings need roads, so smaller buildings save space, but you waste much of that savings on roads. Also, it's hard to use +% pax decorations on 1x1.

The Curse and Rock The Sky were my failures as well. Felt disappointed after each event because I gave it my all for both events and ended up just short in Rock The Sky

Well the QL party was very easy.....for those who have 77 of each of the launch items or more (most vets). For others, the event was impossible so it wasnt even worth trying (most new members). I fell in the middle. I needed 26 astrographs in a week to make it happen, and I had to work my butt off for it (I had just done a red QL party the weekend before the event...HORRIBLE TIMING).
I agree that the building may not appear again, but in all honesty, if I miss out on a building, it won't make or break my plans. If I don't have it, I'll replace it with another one. There will always be new pax buildings, so I dont sweat it :D

Well, it's only prudent to not blow all your resources the moment you get them. It's not about being vet or noob, it's about being prepared in case a good party comes by. But yeah, bad timing can catch even the most prepared with pants down : )
