No, my pc game still won’t connect to their servers. It is wired connection for my pc. The update is showing as being installed, but no update on the game itself!!!

You should get the event whenever you can connect to their server.

try rebooting your computer. The update may have issue with your current connection. By reboot you establish a new connection and at the same time allow A to correct any issues with the download.

After I found out that the update didn't work, I did reboot my computer and still no server connection.

It poped out couple days ago to me also and i don't know how.There isn't any button to this.

I noticed it yesterday but I cannot reproduce it because I don't know what I did to get this pop-up. Methinks its a new feature unless we both were flying blind.

I got it by pressing longer (maybe 5 seconds) on a certain name in the alliance rankings.

Got it,you have to long press the avatar of a player.So its a kind of report not for entire alliance but for a specific player.
