GI did give me a code but it didn't do anything. I have emailed them back about it. so I am playing from scratch again. @Anubhav can i add you to my neighbor or are you going to wait?

Mine is working on win10, but I don't see win10 on support page in placing a request for window PC for AC. So good for you @Anubhav for waiting.....very wise.

Has AC working or received an update yet on win10? Nevermind mine is working but have to start all over. I can see my other city but when I try to get it...It came up that I can't add it as neighbor may have outdated version. So I not sure if can or I want to get the it back.

Yes I am having the same issue, and I lost everything I had on it too. But this is going to be my 3rd time to put a ticket in. My second was restored last week and I was told that I have only one time to use the code to restore. so what do I do? Put a ticket in again and see what they tell me...

I am having the same problem today. I get the GI screen and it just stays there. As far as rebooting. i will try this and see it this will fix this.

Okay I had this problem twice already, but this time around I was up to level 28. I put a ticket in to support with my old friend code. I was wondering if you turn on the backup features on windows 8.1. So when you do have this problem you can restore where you left off. I didn't try it. But...
