To advanced players: Does your stack of silver tokens ever run out?

Simple question: Are you ever in need of more silver tokens than you have? I'm asking, because I currently have 15000 of them, and I just launched a 1h-contract for a VC 'just for fun'. Will this bite me in the ass in the future {like in the 'old days' when one would spend greenies on items / things without realizing the actual value of those greenies)? Or do you never have a shortage of silver tokens?

Obviously, this will depend on your playing style, but I'm particularly interested in the experience of players with (multiple) VC

Not yet, but I know of one person who was too enthusiastic with their vc contracts who suddenly find a hole that wasn’t there before.

Potential is high though. I need 7000 for Rh upgrade. Only have 5000 so have lost a whole bunch somewhere!

I have exactly 50003 in there doing nothing. I haven’t spent any since last bought a grand hotel to increase my maximum population. I have so many event buildings now I don’t need to buy them anymore.
i don’t use them to buy aircraft upgrades as that’s not my strategy, they become too precious and you keep them when you don’t need them. I do use up my gold when occasionally restarting my casino!
This was a good purchase a very long time ago and the last time I actually spent real money.
So for me silver don’t matter but always open to ideas how to spend them

I have a similar number. I’m a little cautious with them. A 9H contract is the most I’ll do at the minute. I wouldn’t worry about 1/3 H contracts though. 20 silver for 1st place in a red launch.
I only run contracts when I need them (I.e. map runs). Once I’ve invested in the buildings I want then you need not worry, but as Madge said, the RH upgrade needs a lot, as do police stations and ministry of truth (if you plan on buying all).

I guess I've got my answer Nowhere near a ministry of truth yet (for me, a new building I just put on my want-list, thanks for that ), but the costs of buildings I underestimated until now. Thanks

5000 is what’s in the bank. I don’t open my golden, silver or bronze chests so probably have enough buried away. Stops me accidentally buying gold planes as has happened before.

The highest ongoing use for them is for contracts. I think mine are very slowly going down but I don’t usually go longer than 9hr contracts either. Mostly I’ll do a 3 hr to line up with a family ticket. I just upgraded RH to level 5 with the gold I got back and I think that took a whopping chunk from me - 9000 if my memory is correct?
