Playing the Russian version.

I was unable to get this to work the last time around, can anyone explain how to change it??

My Android phone is a Motorola Razr M.

Is it possible to do this on iPads as well?

It's easy. Go to your devices language settings.
Change language to РУССКИЙ When/If there is a Russian quest.

My support game is in Russian and it is the reason to know "this quest has been started".
Certainly I am going to inform all my friends about this issue.

I tried changed the language in settings to РУССКИЙ and reopened AC but no sign of the quest I'm afraid, (in IOS that is)

It is too early now.
It is the Easter quest "Пасхальное приключение" only.
BTW the Russian orthodox Easter "Пасха" is on the 20 of April like the Catholic Easter this year.
But it is this year only, it is quite seldom to have the same date.

I suppose the Russian quest will start on the 1 of May or very close to this date.

you can try to download an app from Google Play for changing language in your device.. I downloaded Custom Locale for my S2..

Last year, I read about this quest in a thread on the forum. It explaind how to change you keyboard to Russian. Once I rebooted, the game assumed I was Russian and gave me the quest. Yes, the dialog is impossible to understand if you don't speak the language but the icons are the same as the English version. Thanks to help from some terrific Russian forum members, I was able to complete the quest. It was very challenging but a lot of fun. I hope they bring it back in English as well in May.

Thanks Tom...I was actually asking about the 3 greenies people are getting from signing up with vk.com... I can't enter a valid email address using the Russian keyboard!

Edit: Thanks InCoNvEnIeNtE...a phone number works to sign up!

When I click on the in-game icon it brings up the vk.com login page (all in Russian) and it looks like you're supposed to enter a phone number and then password to sign up or login, but I can't read any of the Russian to figure out what I'm doing wrong or clicking on....

I got the greenies when I signed up. I remember receiving 5 greenies. Not the 3 others are talking about. I also remember being able to change my language preference at the VK site. I speak/understand a few languages, none of them Russian.
