This is becoming ridicuolus: just visited 12 neighbours, most of them with 5 or even more Gift Shops, but got 0 (zero) items for United We Stand collection (Gt city 3 account).
United We Stand: 0-0-0-2-0.
So, i would suggest to GI to change "Very seldom" to "Probably never"

I finished quickly flying to new York and already had the best part of two collections from gift shops. I found items usually drop two at once and you just need be patient for the right ones. The prize looks good in my airport and +50 is always welcome.

Your Gt city game has been very friendly to Jpjpjp999. Gave me some items. Jpjpjp999 has only neighbor drops and has since the start of the quest the amount of: 10-5-1-10-6. 8 days to go and needs 2 bells to finish this part (and still need drops from guestplanes (1 collection complete) and some banknotes to complete all three collections (4-2-0-5-4)

Do the gift shops of neighbours that have completed the event (Already have Washington monument) drop items for these collections or do they stop dropping for neighbours as well? They definitely stop dropping for own city when event is completed.

This could be the reason why people are getting very bad drop rates.

I was wondering the same thing. I haven't completed the quest yet because neighbors are still visiting my gift shops and I don't want to mess up the drop rate. But flip123 if you think the drop rate won't be affected, I am going to build my monument!

That's true. And I'm trying to earn stars for the quest destinations, so I suppose it makes sense to delay building the monument so I can still earn coins from the Fathers of the Nation collection.

Flip, the reason why I finished quick on my two account sari and sari2 is I want focus on completing this quest on sari3 and as you know the drop rates is really terrible and It's difficult to manage time to play three games
