why do i get daily missions i physically cannot complete. I.e. Today (and this is the second or third time) i get a task to help 50 neighbours. I am only at lvl 6 stars so can only help 45 thus not being able to complete the mission. Are they telling me i should be further on than i actually am??

I'd say its a typical example of programmers not knowing what they are doing...

So report it as a bug is probably the best thing you can do

Basically you can - with use of friends in need bonus (which allows you to visit 10 instead of 5 neighbor buildings). But thats another story if it is worth it.

Actually I am level 50 and i visited all friends since day 1 and now I can visit 10 friends a day (with 7 hearts) and it only asks from me to help 45. So i think the programmers think probably around this level (50 to 53) you should be having 7 hearts.

I personally don't find the daily task worthwhile - I mean why would you want to speed up 30 planes to finish the daily task - it makes no sense

Yeah i ignore the ones for speed up unless i am doing an adventure (first time today)

I know these tasks are supposed to be random, but I now have had 3 days in a row of having to use fuel to speed up flights. I'm not going to waste fuel to do this. I don't mind if I get this "random task" every so often, but not several days in a row. Is anybody else getting this task several days in a row?

I've gone a couple days now without it. I had to speed up a few planes to land 40 of them today but I've just decided to skip the days that I have to speed up 40 planes unless I'm working on a map

The benefit is two random collection items. Definitely worth doing them.

Why don't you try putting one of your high powered planes in your reserve hangar when it lands, buy the smallest plane and finish sending out, speeding up or completing the required number of flights?

Little work and not that expensive to do. Doesn't disrupt the normal gameplay...

Piston on training flights, finished in 4 minutes wthout speeding up. Speeding up is only 8 fuel. Then goes back to the hanger and normal ops resumed.

Yes. IMHO In this game we level way too fast. Eg. I wasn't even done with Deltas and already needed runway 6 to land Falcons and was given missions to fly Falcons. I blame the Planetariums, obviously the game isn't balanced for such huge inflow on coins and xp.

Yes. Don't forget the developer's goal here: burn all of your fuel and spend Airport Cash on extra barrels.

Or - as suggested above by @Wasted Eagle - whip out your smallest plane type and get it over with quickly and relatively cheap...

Those are the one's I don't play. Last week it was speed up 30, yesterday was 40! even with a prop plane it's 40x8=320fuel as a minimum. using a jet at 44 is 1760 fuel and a bigger plane, well............

If these are the tasks then it is better (always is better to go for this...) to go for adventure and use any of the fuel you will use to speed up those flights. Then you can have buildings that are guaranteed to drop every 24hours.

I just ignore this mission altogether. The only time I'm doing it is when it's 3 of visit residential/visit commercial/help friends/send gifts and even then I have to build 6 Eateries, because nobody sane keeps enough commercial buildings anyway.
