Got my Lie Detectors, thanks @Blue Aero - and having spotted players across all platforms, have gift exchanges in place for the remainder except LAMINATORS or CURRENCY DETECTORS - if you can gift these, or have a neighbour who can, let me know. I can gift Paper cutters, explosive detectors and TSquares for level 10 - if you will need these ask now, as I suspect they will disappear after I upgrade the level 9 buildings - and trust me they are really difficult to find as payers only have them available to gift for a short period! - stock up!!!

Here is what I told @Phil G

I flew two twin turbos to Bali and a small green plane to Cyprus as those were the crests I needed for spyglass.
I have 3 slots in my reserve hangar.
I did try Bogata destination for a while but that only worked until I got the first 3 cold war collections.
Once I had the spyglass I tried sending different planes to Iceland, Seattle, Bogata, Bali and Lima, but I discovered that Lima had the best chance of drop items, since it does not carry fish, for fish market; from Seattle. Lima does not carry imprinters or ATMs like Los Angeles does. Iceland has Deicers as well as some other items. And although Bali is good for getting the crests needed for the spyglass collection, (Cyprus, Bali, Malta and two others have the crests), Bali also gives items like Avocados, which I have lol lots of them.
As for Bogata, like Lima it too just has the Cold War items, but one must remember Giants break down and there are no spare parts to fix. One has to pay green dollars to fix, or wait 12 hours for repairs. Lima, using the Delta, if it breaks down, it might need a jet engine, a passenger seat, spare tire or landing gear, and paint. Those are common items many players had dropped from planes when they first started playing. You might think there are many in the warehouse, but they come in handy later, like in this challenge. So my final plan was to fly Deltas to Lima.
Having enough fuel and passengers are important too, but a breakdown, takes all of 30 seconds to fix and you can have the plane back in the air.

You can send some here and there for the next event. I'm sure I will need more crests for spyglasses in the future. I also know Malta where one crest comes from uses powerful radio transmitters.

B; The 2nd one, covers two destinations needed to complete the set I'm about to reveal; Bali, (you need Landing lamps for) & Malta,( you need powerful radio transmitters for)
C: The 3rd one, flies to the Canary Islands; the large green jet, to acquire a fourth item.
D: the 4th and final, is the Powerful Delta, used to fly to Iceland where you will acquire the fifth and final Item.
All of the items are crests. A collection of crests, earns you a much needed item for events, known as the spyglass. It is a good idea to have these planes' as I said earlier in reserve at all times. If you have some free time on hand, or are just beginning a Quest/Event challenge, gather together a few spyglasses to have on hand, making events somewhat easier in gathering those very elusive items.
Depicted below is what each crest looks like and the collection it's in. Get to know it. And you may finally be gald you've accomplished a challenge one day.

I just discovered another advantage of this wonderful Jumbo Ranger.
Unlike the S1 and S2 versions of the Jumbo, that require greenbucks to repair, or a 12 hour wait; the Jumbo Ranger accepts parts for any other standard Jumbo.
I did approximately 25 flights now with it, and one breakdown required a Gyroscope which took my mechanic all about 30 seconds to fix, and she was back in the air.

Wow - great advice you guys - I am trying just to fly mainly to LIMA today and see how it goes. I have one CW collection drop in 3 days - so am now at 3,3,3,0,1 - just 5 things needed!!!
