Only updated after gifting today since I didn't came to the forum first and so didn't know that there was an update and a new event. Can start sending chainsaws from tomorrow if you want them.

There is an update available in the Windows Store

I think I will wait till tomorrow.There seem to be bugs galore in the other platform versions

Have not noticed any bugs thus far, however seems a couple things are better/working.
Take that with a grain of salt though as have not played extensively since getting the update.

If observation drone what item requires them ?

Hi @Cosmic Blue it´s observation drone, the yellow one. It´s for my Control tower 9.

There is a new event available. You need to go to the Windows Store and get a upgrade from Airport City.

I have not done this yet on my main game so I don't know what its all about. But, Yes, Chainsaws seem to be involved

Yes, the update is available for Windows PC. I haven't seen it for Windows Phone yet.

Doing the event, but after this mornings drop rate - from Madlen's 5 volcanic institutes, from the burnt trees around the cities I have visited, and from the first flights to special destinations, I am not feeling over confident - a bit cynical really. Still, may collect a couple of new buildings along the way, and some easy stars on the smaller aircraft destinations, so who knows! Good luck.

Are you sure we can collect from neighbours volcanic institutes, or is it just our own ?

I got something from one, I am sure, but then they don't seem to have the arrows over them so probably not - the one I did probably had a burnt tree hiding behind it!
