Good Evening Flyboys and Flygirls (16.45pm GMT London)

After a long and restful period of time away I've decided to have another go with Airport City. A decision I came to during last Sunday morning's posh breakfast and while reading the newspapers.

I've decided to start from stratch rather than resurrect my old game. Having played the game before I can see there are better ways of playing the game. This time I will not record any statistical data, nor have any non forum members as neighbours. I also plan to position the buildings in a better manner, making better use of the 4x4 block grids in the city and airport once I begin to expand my land. I will also only do the side bar tasks if they fit in with my plans. In the early days of my previous game I spent too much time dealing with them for poor returns.

I'm currently on game level 10, star skills 10 and hearts 1 - since Sunday afternoon. I'd like to reconnect with all my former forum neighbours, which will help speed things up. As I progress through the levels my game will open up and I will then be able to send far better gift items, which should not take too long. I've updated my signature to reflect the above, including my new friends code.

I very much look forward to communicating with you all through the members forum once again. Fortunately, my original account is still active and I will be using this.

Good Morning Neighbours (11.40am GMT London)

I just wanted to write and express my great thanks to all of you for responding so quickly with your invites. I currently have 24 neighbours, in such a short period of time. I will be keying in your friends codes in due course. The speedness of your invites allowed me to plunder far more neighbours for resources, this I did respectfully and in a stylish manner befitting my age and grey hairs.

I was planning on replying individually to my neighbours but decided one message to encompass all. Once I'm up to speed with my neighbours needs (who wants gravy with their chicken or beef) I will keep my gifting simple for the time being.

Main support gifting pantry emptied for the next seven hours. Support pantry probably won't be emptied until then either.

I am slowly getting back to the habit of regular gifting and chatting. Events destroy my process. I have slightly updated my gifting list (in pencil) based on today's forum reading. Don't know when I am going to redo my gifting list and gifting ability.

Yes, your quite right, this is our first communication together, the first of many I'm sure. I post on the members forum on a regular basis, not just game related but also Off Topic Chat - Cinema Films, DVD Films and Boxsets, DVD TV Series recommendations. I've also been thinking about creating a new thread with regards to listening to music through radio, broadband and hi-fi systems as well as music cd's and vinyl. It would be interesting to find out what members enjoy listening to and their preferred choice of medium.

Your help would be greatly appreciated and will be returned, my thanks for your welcome.

Sorry I couldn't help Cath. After the big update I have lost the ability to send catering facility items, and each new little update is the same.

For some strange reason I have only been able to send 16 gifts today - not a clue why, looks like some have counted twice! - anybody else had that issue???

Unfortunately I lost all fuel gifts with one of the updates and have
neither of your repair item needs. Surely there are some needed
flight items. Every gifting cycle I go to your list and think what to do...what to do.

fuel 3 will be acceptable, since I will always need fuel for map quests. Otherwise, send what you like, I will understand.

Wow never knew Golden Dice could be to such an advantage other than visiting neighbors.
I had one alarm clock already, bought 2 from Croocker, and picked up a set of Golden Dice.
Mind you I have been working maps lol til my feathers have lost all their fluff, flying night and day.

Good for you. I think I bought a defective Golden Dice Working on a map and only 2 drops from 13 flights so far.

Yes @ItsRalphy they are set in such a way that just one wrong click to the right, left, top or bottom can cost ya greenies.

@!angel had to start over again for the umpteenth time, waiting once again on GI. Game consistently crashing everytime she closes it or shuts down computer.
One thing she did discover however is as she is collecting items for airship dock for Croocker, the reward upon completion is now a QL bonus.

Well, they do have a dialogue box that asks you if you are sure, just like deleting neighbors (Unless of course you at one time clicked the, "Don't show this message again box" - Which, if you did, means that you will delete a neighbor or spend a greenie).
