@Rzuff - these sorts of crashes used to be really regular for some players, and GI well send you a restore code. Your game isn't lost, it is still on their servers, you have just lost your connection to it. When they send you a code, you enter it in the friend code section, like you do the weekend code, and you game will magically reappear. Just play your temporary game to around level 3 as it is only then that you are allowed to enter a friend code.

Going forward, I recommend taking backups - these are really easy of you have a memory stick, and I take them a couple of times a day - around 15 second each time to do. Instructions are:-

DAILY INSTRUCTIONS
1) Open file explorer, click on the view tab and just to the right of the header ensure the box, Hidden files or items is checked.
2) You can manually save the game each day if you feel comfortable with that, by going to: This PC. Click on C/users/username/AppData/Local/Packages/xxxxxxAirportCityxxxxx/LocalState
3) In this folder there is a SaveProfile.bin file. Copy and paste it, preferably on another drive, SDCard, Thumb drive, but not on the same drive you are using for OS. Note that again unless the hidden items box is not checked under the view tab, a user cannot see the AppData folder. (I also do this with playerpref.dat)
4) If you save a shortcut on your desktop, it is eveen easier.
RECOVERY INSTRUCTIONS
1) If your game should happen to crash and revert back to level 1, all you need to do is get the game to level 5 first, close the game and the LocalState folder is created along with the first SaveProfile.bin file.
2) Go to where you saved your own bin file earlier, copy it and paste it into the LocalState folder, replacing the one already there.
3) Open the game once again and you should be right where you left off.
NOTE/WARNING
Some players can use this technique to cheat. It works for me as purely a back up for lost games, and is only recommended in that context.

I was able to build my 1st Space Travel Monument, I am really happy that now there are 2 space buildings in my city, back in the early days I was wondering if I could ever manage to have such buildings.

Thunderstorms last night, on top of dental appt this morning early, and I tucked in my tail-feathers and took a nap, whilst gifting.
Thanks be to those, forum and non forum members, (who read these but reluctant to join, thinking it costs money); for the gifts i received.

In the night (silly time!) I started a new SMALL ITEMS Red Launch - only for items worth 6 - 24 so it is a good chance today to get rid of your small items
I know using a red for this is pushing my luck but I will review progress at about 23.00 UK time and if it is looking unlikely to achieve launch I will post here and open it up to larger items for the the last hour - that will give those interested the chance to grab a better place for themselves. It is announced in the Space forum.
Obviously not a good prospect for QL's at the moment but keep an eye on it you may want to jump aboard at the last minute.

I am also interested in gaining some new neighbours for the express purpose of space flights - I am not looking for gifts from the new neighbours nor am I able to cope with any additional to send. As long as you are happy with this it will give us all the opportunity for more successful space flights.

If you would like to join me please do the following:-
1) Send me a PM stating your in game ID - this is important because I reject all requests from non-forum members. All my neighbours bar one are forum members so there is less chance of unintentional hijacks in any launches I start.
2) Send a neighbour request for wac7ps2
3) Please remember not to send me any gifts as I will be unable to return them due to the number of neighbours I have. You are of course invited to join any space flights, I may join your space flights and of course you can visit my AirportCity for plunder. I do have a full set of Research Labs where you are likely to collect space items but as yet no Planetariums - the holy grail of plunder!
