ok thanksAFAIK they break down in usual way, you just don't have any means to repair them. (Drop&re-buy being the only option)
Keep in mind that when building is in process of being build/upgraded is one state, and when it's done and just waiting for items is another state. Eg. when terminal is being built, you get the new capacity, but when construction is finished and it's waiting for materials you're back to previous capacity.
I'm sending you Calibration Module
If you break down before the upgrade is complete, the game says you have no repair facility. However, if the upgrade is complete, but just waiting for the remaining building items, it still functions at the pre-upgrade level.I know this question is off topic here but I am wondering what happens if you have an aircraft break down whilst the repair facility is being upgraded? I thought back and do not remember any breaking down while I was performing the last upgrade which took over a week. Do you think if you were to start upgrading the repair facility but not complete it that it might be possible to avoid planes breaking down at all? I considered whether this would be "cheating" but if its a feature built in by GI then it isn't. When I have enough coins I may give it a try and see what happens. However first I want to gather enough necessary items to complete just in case.
To this end I have changed my immediate building requirements to the following:-
4 Calibration Module - I have all the other items I need
I will of course let the forum know if my experiment works
Please send three more calibration modules.Hello people, gifts sent for today and thank you all for the incoming.
Happy Landings everybody!!!
I guess that must have been the period I remember not getting breakdowns - oh well don't think I will bother with the upgrade as I have no plans to fly falcons any time soon - thanksIf you break down before the upgrade is complete, the game says you have no repair facility. However, if the upgrade is complete, but just waiting for the remaining building items, it still functions at the pre-upgrade level.
ok not good not good not good!!!! my airport city game is starting at the beginning it reset the whole game wth everything is gone its like i never had the game what do i do!!!!!! frustrating
Hi - this is an old problem, and it is resolvable. Your game has not gone, you have just lost your link to it. Email GI support and they will send you a code to enter like yo would do to invite a friend, or for the weekend code. Your game will then restore. All should be exactly as it was, except your gifting list will have refreshed and be different.ok not good not good not good!!!! my airport city game is starting at the beginning it reset the whole game wth everything is gone its like i never had the game what do i do!!!!!! frustrating

A good reminder to always backup your game! Thanks.Hi - this is an old problem, and it is resolvable. Your game has not gone, you have just lost your link to it. I always backup, once or maybe twice a day, and it takes only seconds and is dead simple:-
DAILY INSTRUCTIONS
1) Open file explorer, click on the view tab and just to the right of the header ensure the box, Hidden files or items is checked.
2) You can manually save the game each day if you feel comfortable with that, by going to: This PC. Click on C/users/username/AppData/Local/Packages/xxxxxxAirportCityxxxxx/LocalState
3) In this folder there is a SaveProfile.bin file. Copy and paste it, preferably on another drive, SDCard, Thumb drive, but not on the same drive you are using for OS. Note that again unless the hidden items box is not checked under the view tab, a user cannot see the AppData folder. (I also do this with playerpref.dat)
4) If you save a shortcut on your desktop, it is even easier.
RECOVERY INSTRUCTIONS
1) If your game should happen to crash and revert back to level 1, all you need to do is get the game to level 5 first, close the game and the LocalState folder is created along with the first SaveProfile.bin file.
2) Go to where you saved your own bin file earlier, copy it and paste it into the LocalState folder, replacing the one already there.
3) Open the game once again and you should be right where you left off.
NOTE/WARNING
Some players can use this technique to cheat. It works for me as purely a back up for lost games, and is only recommended in that context.
